I want them to keep the segmented health.

Seriously, Far Cry 2's health system is one of the best in gaming and I would hate to see it replaced with a shitty "magically regenerating health" system.
wait so how is "hey look a bullet lodged in my arm hmm let's get it out ;o god that feels so much better I can even run again now" Not magical to you? and how does "hmm a syringe *flsh* yup I think that closed up all wounds" not seem magical either? the system made little sense in comparison to it's own reality
No its not realistic but its a hell of a lot better than getting shot in the chest, ducking behind something for two seconds, then being fully healed.

Far Cry 2's implementation of segmented health was fantastic. Yes you had magic syringes, but at least in the beginning of the game you didn't have much, and because of this you had to be careful when you fought. It made things more tense and exhilarating.

Not saying it makes any more sense, I'm saying its better than regenerating health.

Well seeing as how the first game was in the tropics, the next in Africa, I think the next one should be in.... Asia. I think it would fit. Maybe.

I would really like the guard posts, if any, should stay dead after you kill everyone inside. Or at least make it so that its possible to get rid of them, like in infamous where you can make an area enemy free.

I loved far cry 2, so underrated.

I love the open world, and it should stay that way. Maybe a way to travel between safehouses, or at least more bus routs. 4? Are you kidding me?

Keep the amazing multiplayer the same, but change the controls for the gang glider, they were SO BAD.

I really hope their is a far cry 3.

I would like to see Far Cry 3, but the shooting needs to improve. Enemies could see you from a mile away. Also I hope the fire improves. Kinda lame how a fire would stop after a while. Also hope to see more missions.
I agree, and sometimes they'd follow you FOREVER (especially if they had a car.) and they could spot you a hundred yards away at night (until you get that camo, but even then it barely works if you move).

I want some civilians. It was Africa and all I saw in FC2 was two sides of the battle, I never once saw a civilian. It didn't break the game for me but it was weird...

Improved shooting would be needed, and more realism for me, I always liked how Far Cry 2 had you fixing your jeep, and your guns jamming and stuff.

Agreed. You ever get the feeling that everybody is trying to kill you in video games?

I wish the fire would keep going and not stop after 20 seconds.
I wish the story was better, honestly I just shot the people who shot at me and just played along.
I wish stealth was in the game.
I wish that guard points don't respawn every minuet.
I wish people could not see you as easily. I had that problem while sniping from miles away that they would always know where I am.

That's alll I can think of at the moment but there is more.
Yeah, all of this. I wish everyone you saw outside of towns didn't try to kill you. I also thought the malaria element was really tedious and unnecessary.

If the enemy AI is worked on alot, Far Cry 3 has the potential to be one of the greatest shooters of this gen.

It drives the story along a little. And it could give you a 'oh crap' feeling when you get a random malaria attack midway through a shoot out.

Maybe, but I shouldn't have to drive across the map to stop feeling woozy for a while.

You have a point there.

The only memorable moment I had from Farcry 2, out of all the time I spent completing every single mission (which meant getting across the godforsaken maps many times over), was when I accidentally killed off a buddy after he saved me. It was right at the beginning of the game proper and I didn't know that you could cycle between the pistol and the magical health-regen syringe. I laughed. And cried.

Also, I wouldn't have played the game had it not been included as a free pack-in with the GTX260 graphics card I bought from Newegg. Considering I didn't pay for it, it was an ok game. Also what the hell is the point of getting all of the hidden diamonds? You don't need to get even close to all of them to get all the best weapons anyway.

Besides, there were really only four or five distinct environments copy-pasted throughout to whole game: sand-desert (not sure it counts), Savannah, Jungles, River and Trash-City. That's it.

Also, the ending was a kick in the balls. Fuck that ending. Seriously.

I hope they make stealth a little more forgiving. Once you figured it out, you could sneak in to an area, but taking down an enemy was a huge risk if you wanted to stay undetected. Also, I played that game tons of times, and I never once managed to escape from enemies by simply hiding.

i wish they would make it so that not every one hates you
This, above all other complaints I've read on this thread, expresses what I believe Ubi could do to make FC3 better.

You couldn't drive for 30 seconds in a worn-down jeep before every npc within a 10 mile radius of where you where ran towards you and decided you were their enemy.

They've given us tropics and Savanna and deserts, so besides better AI and shooting I want a Winter WONDERLAND!!!! (and/or Forest)

Co-op, radio, and more mission varity, and the single most important of all, MAKE YOUR DECISIONS MATTER. I hated that after all I did to try to help the UFLL, the ending is always the same, you either kill yourself because the man who you came to the country to try to kill told you so. And I freaking hate the goddamn Jackal. Why can't I just shoot him and go home? An awful way to end the story.

The multiplayer sucked balls for FC2, fucking sniperfest. Hope they improve that part of the game. Either that or have a better SP campaign.

More stuff to do, so much nifty looking scenery and nothing to do in it.

Less repetitive, mundane missions. It felt like every mission was the same.

If you're gonna make weapons degrade over time, why not go the whole way and give them bullet drop and full customization? Diff sights, stocks, accesories, etc.

Aerial vehicles and co-op.
