Hm, I am not sure about the
best, but it is certainly very, very good.
There is some oddity that I dislike every now and again (Chiana can be annoying and I don't like Stark). I have not finished watching everything yet - I'm going by what is on Netflix, so I don't know how much of the overall story I have got up to, but I think I am on the last season that they have.
The show has a great mix of fun story-lines, interesting characters, questions regarding morality, great (and relatively novel) characters and a huge heaping of humour - exactly what I like in a sci-fi show. My other favourites include Stargate SG1, Stargate Atlantis (I know it was not as well received, but I was able to see it all on Netflix and loved it), Firefly and Warehouse 13; precisely because of these elements.
I enjoy other sci-fi stuff of course, whether it is more serious stuff like Event Horizon and Star Trek TNG/Voyager or "campy" stuff like Doctor Who, original Star Trek and Blake's Seven (the latter by virtue of age more than anything else really).
As I said, Farscape is certainly a contender for the best, I certainly have a hell of a lot of fun watching it. Great, great show.

In case you can't tell due to the size, my avatar is Crichton from the episode "Cracker's Don't Matter" - loved that one for the sheer insanity of it

I guess there's a reason Fargate happened, and Ben Browder, and Claudia Black hopped on at the end of SG1?
Holy crap, really?
I love Stargate but I could only watch it a few years ago, and in somewhat random order, on Sky (the DVD sets are way too expensive for me at the moment). I absolutely must see this!
