My favorite sound is that of stomping on an enemy in Mario Bros.

Although I am also drawn to the siren songs of the sounds of the portal gun, and the noise heard in Prototype whenever you knock over a street light.

The sound of when you hit something with a tackle for example.

I second that. Nothing is more satisfying than seeing your opponent explode upon hearing that sound.

Another one of my favorites is the sound of a silenced SMG in CoD4. Makes you feel like a badass.
