Favorite anime, dubbed or otherwise?

Never understood all the hate dubbed gets. don't really care to, either. Never been a big anime fan, but the second half of "Full Metal Alchemist" (NOT brotherhood) was pretty engaging. As was the first half of "Death Note". "Cowboy Bebop" is one of my favorite shows of all time, cartoon or otherwise.

Though there are many to choose from, Berserk takes the cake and runs with it.

Manga is almost always better, more imagination involved...besides, the voice actors can never emotionally scar you---(thinks of Raki from Claymore)

My favorite anime that is dubbed or subbed has to be either Neon Genesis Evangelin or Fullmetal Alchemist.

Both of them are excellent animes in my opinion and I really can't make a choice between either of them.

Your favorite type of anime that may be Japenese or dubbed in English? Mine for example is Bobobo-Bo Bobo-Bo; just tell your favorite anime and maybe a reason that IS your favorite anime. Bobobo was my favorite just because of how random it was; it went beyond random, it had obvious comedy, so blunt you could knock someone out with it!

I agree, but I really wish I could rewatch Bobobo somehow. Can't really find it on the internet though.

I always have a hard time choosing between Cowboy Bebop, Trigun and Berserk as my favourite.

I love all three for their main characters. All quite interesting and much deeper than originally presented. I like seeing the slow reveal to show how they became as they are.

I also enjoy the humour, fight scenes and inter-character relationships.

Good stuff.

Currently going through Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood, wasnt that sure at first but now I think its better than then first anime by far. every episode seems relevent where the original did suffer from fillers

Edit: Also enjoyed Love Hina, watched both english and japanese versions with subtitles

You can! Use Youtube and look it up; try to find someone who has two episodes and go to their profile, chances are they've got alot of videos. Youtube is best place, just try!

I'd have to say my favorite anime is the English Dub of Desert Punk. The only dub I know that made the English Version so much better than the Japanese.
