My favortie anime ever is Hellsing OVA, followed closely by Blood+ and Dragon Ball Z. As you can tell, I'm into badass vampires and fighting. Those are my top favorites followed by the likes of Zoids and Death Note. I really love anime, but I don't get to see much of it, but when I can, I make the most of it.

My favourite anime TV series is SaiKano. It will rip out your heart and stomp on it. If you've never heard of it then PLEASE take my advice- don't look it up, don't find out anything about it, don't even learn what the english title is. Just download the first episode or get a friend to show you it on DVD while hiding the box and you avert your eyes from the DVD menu until you get to the end of that episode. It will BLOW YOUR MIND. (Unless you hate love stories, you macho, hard-case twat.)
Length of series? And most importantly, does it have a happy ending? Seen far, far too many angsty romance series that have poor endings recently.
Hate to break it to you, but from what I know Saikano is very depressing, almost to an apocalyptic degree.

Jacuzzi is kinda cool as well.
You gush about Baccano characters but do not mention Isaac or Miria? This will not stand! The lack of Ladd Russo in your post is also unforgivable.

So that'd be one to avoid then. Well, avoid until I actually feel like watching something dark and depressing again. Ack, why are so many romance anime/mangas some form of angst trip that ends badly?

The Banhammer And You: A User's Guide [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/18.112832-The-Banhammer-and-You-A-Users-Guide-to-the-Forums]: See "Repeat Threads"

I mean, come on, "favorite anime?" On the Internet, you'd have better luck making an original topic asking people what their favorite food is. The last one of these (probably?) had moved past asking animes and asking which of a "big three" was the best. That was 3 days ago [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/jump/18.181874].

That said, Nagasarete Airantou [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nagasarete_Airantou]. Just the right mix of comedy, sexiness, and unique background in a harem anime, IMHO.

Trigun dubbed because I prefer the voices.

For sheer craziness Ergo proxy, I know that's sane by anime standards but I like my shows to be a least a little serious and truly mad stuff is just pointless.

In English, I'd have to go with Yu Yu Hakusho. It's just an entertaining, well-done dub.

In Japanese... I'm going to have to go with Neon Genesis Evangelion.

Best. Response. Ever.

Personally, however, my favorite anime is Trigun. Yes, it's old, and mainstream. But I have never seen another anime that so perfectly combines plenty of shoot-em-up action with a true philosophical struggle on the parts of several characters. (Plus: Johnny Yong Bosch's voice is dead sexy.)

The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. I can't really explain why i like it but i don't ever get tried of it. I normally don't have the intestest in watching a whole series but i have seen this meny times over. And each time i notice something diffrent. Like the cab driver in the episode with Koizumi and Kyon are in the taxi. The driver is Mr Arakawa, Who was the butler in a later episode.

I loved Gundam and Dragonball Z when I was younger, and I liked Gungrave. The end kind of sucked, though.

FLCL, Both dubbed and otherwise, The Japanese version is great, but the dub is even better, they managed to translate all the jokes and more into it without losing any of the flavor of the original characters.
