You and me both, I've given up on trying to make a customized male Shepard, I just go with the default.Littaly said:As for the worst. Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2. Goddammit! I can forgive the lack of interesting hairstyles, but even beyond that they made so damn sure you didn't stray too far from the "grizzled space marine" look that it makes me question why they put it there in the first place! Still, it wouldn't have been a problem if it wasn't so clumsy, you can only view your character from two angles, so it's waaay too easy to overlook a messed up detail that becomes painfully clear every time the game zooms in on your face (which it does a lot!), but by then it's already too late! What bugged me the most was that after I finished Mass Effect with captain uglyface there was no way I could change it for Mass Effect 2 without having to redo the whole thing from scratch. I don't know, maybe I care too much ^^

Hands down best ever.
Mass Effect? You can change the angle by click and dragging on the face. It will (awkwardly, but still) move the face from side to side and up and down.Littaly said:I'm gonna go with The Sims 3, really deep but without overdoing it. It has enough sliders to make it accurate without overdoing it, and the nature of the game really makes them relevant so it always feels like it pays off.
Champions Online was pretty good too. I couldn't really create all the costumes that I had in mind, but there were enough options to really make the costume fit the powers you were going with. Looking back on it, the character creator was probably the most fun part of that game ^^

I would have to agree with this. It reminds me of my THPS4 "everyone needs mohawks" character creation bingeRewdalf said:I don't play many games with character creation.
And for some strange reason one has stood out for me.
The create a skater system in Tony Hawks Pro Skater 4...
Maybe I'm choosing it because of nostalgia, but I remember makin' some pretty bad ass guys there...
This, though I could make a good-looking character, it was never what I wanted them to look like. So it would be like wanting chocolate cake but getting pavlova instead (both are fantastic and it's hard to decide between them).Kharloth said:Dragon age.
I dunno, give me 3-5 decent hair styles (like 'just got out of the army and I'm starting to grow it spiky' short hair, 'Aragorn' hair, Head-stubble) and I'm happy, but if my character has a good jaw line I'm sold (I'm a sucker for nice eyes and a strong jaw line (not square, just strong) what can I say, some people like boobs or long legs, I like strong and defined facial features). The Wykydtron said:Anything that give you a crazy load of hairstyles, I don't care how defined my character's jawline is, I want more hairstyles!
