I love dogs. My current favourite is the Norwegian Elkhound. A medium-sized northern dog. Very smart and independent. I'd put a picture of my mom's up, but they all look the same.

What did I say, he's about 7' tall. And a gentle giant btw.

He has atheritis and rarely barks at all. But he's just plain old pure molten awesome.
I like hybrids dogs that are part wolf granted they are dangerous but they can also be loyal and beautiful.
