Favorite foreign film.

Thats a hard one so foreign films I like that are not American. If I had to pick one right now though it would be The Killer. Stars Chow Yun Fat and directed by John Woo.

Actually...anything *ANYTHING* with Chow Yun-Fat is on the top of my list. The Killer, Hard Boiled...A BETTER TOMORROW *sighs* masterpiece!! But Hong Kong 1941 is still my fave...makes me weepy every damn time...
I think, however, that Hero is probably one of the best movies I've ever seen - foreign or otherwise. It just has everything, STUNNING cinematics, complex story and characters, martial arts, philosophy...and so much sadness. Complete and utter joy...
