That is a PS1 controller that has analog sticks.And they are very good.

I love many, my genesis controller, Dual shock 3 is great, but the one that really feels great to me is my dreamcast controller, the analog stick is amazing and I've never seen a d-pad as nice as that one.

i'll go for the playstation controller any day of the week, but for shooters and rts you can beat mouse/keyboard... and recently i've started using an arcade stick for fighters, and i gotta say im loveing it.

I'm getting the SFIV TE edition Fight stick for christmas, would you say it's a good investment? it's for use on my pc.

I'd definitely say its worth while the investment, at least if you play a lot of fighters and either know how to use a stick, or are willing to take the time to learn to use one. I mean i've only started using a stick so i still play better with the controller, but it is well worth the effort, and just loads more fun as well.

The 360 controller is the best controller I actually use. I have held a Logitech G7 (I think) once, though. That was probably the most comfortable mouse ever built.

Dualshock 1, probably because they haven't changed it. I mean, the DS 3 controller is an improvement, but the original carries some fond memories.

Any of the Playstation controllers, I just never got why controllers like the xbox and gamecube had the left joystick switched with the d-pad, it always felt awkward compared to the PS controller being equal.

I have issues with every controller ever. Some more than others.

I enjoy the Xbox's thumbsticks, but HATE the D-pad.
I enjoy the PLaystation's D-Pad but HATE the joysticks.

I'm sure you know what the logical conclusion is. HYBRIDIZATION. DO IT NOW.

I loved the Gamecube controller. probably affects how I think about the console itself. It's just a shame that some people thought the Gamecube was never a success. If anything, they got the controller right- and fixed the clusterfuck from the N64 era. thats my winner for all-time

For current gen... definitely the 360. It feels more comfortable. I do have to give props to Sony for probably making the most solid controller of all time. At first I thought they were just unoriginal to not change it.. but what is there to change?
