Favorite Game intro of all time

Looking at another topic about, "breathtaking games" got me thinking about one of the best video game intro's of all time.

I'm not very original for saying this, but Bioshock had one of the best intro sequences ever. The music, the atmosphere. It was... delectable.

Easily Bioshock, especially when you come to fully appreciate it.

I think the one that has impressed me the most was the Diablo 2 one. Diablo 2 has a lot of great cinematics, but the expectations and the exhilaration was SKY high when marcus finished with "from then on we traveled east...always...into the east" -> Diablo 2 logo! My god...breathtaking...

Its hard to say, the Jump Ultimate Stars into and the Bioshock into are two of my favorites.

Definitely Bioshock, everything from when the plane crashes to when you're genuinely into the game.

Hasn't anyone played Prey? I really liked that game, but the best part was the intro: getting abducted by an alien ship while Don't Fear the Reaper is playing on the bar's jukebox.

I'm going to have to say Halo 3. What, an armored powered, genetically enhanced super soldier crashing into the earth from space at meteoric speeds isn't awesome enough for you.
And Bioshock was pretty good too.

I really miss being younger when games had a much easier time to amaze me, I fucking loved every diablo 2 Cinematic, especially Act 3 > 4

I think Prey had one of the best intros. What could be more epic than being abducted by aliens while "Don't Fear the Reaper" by Blue Oyster Cult is blasting on the roadhouse jukebox.
