Resident Evil Outbreak File 2. Tied for my favorite online game of all time. That's what happens when online wasn't popular in console and you release the game a week before Resident Evil 4 comes out and no reviewers understood the game was made for online not single player. Still sold 750,000 copies though but capcom considered it tanked..yea. I miss that game.

Psychonauts. I still have no idea why this game never sold. Seriously.

Dreamfall: The Longest Journey. It sold well enough ('satisfactory' according to FunCom), but still deserved more attention then it got.
Agree on Pyshonauts. The game was just too good, so naturally it would be left out in the cold. For some reason, the world seems to work like that.

Dreamfall, I hate to say, but it kind of deserved it's poor sales. I loved TLJ and replay it every year or so, but dreamfall made so many mistakes, the least of which was ending on about 5 different cliffhangers with the intention of "The sequel will explain it". How about trying to resolve some of them in the game I bought? It's not like you didn't have room either, because half of the chapters are: Character starts, character runs through area, Character talks to one person, chapter ends. And in the rebel village, we get to run through it twice, because it was so interesting the first time we did it.

I want to see how the story ends, but it really feels like the whole point of dreamfall was to make us buy TLJ, which will come out around the same time as HL: episode 3(or maybe the week after).

Earthbound, amazing rpg for the snes that has gained cult status but it didn't sell well at all when it came to the US. Idk why but not many people bought it, maybe it wasn't marketed well or something. Still an amazing game that didn't sell well at all.
And they still won't release Mother 3 in the states, even though it's even better then Earthbound. Because.....I have no idea.

I think I speak for everyone when I say Okami. Makes meh wanna cry (;_;)
Also, this is a total shot in the dark because I don't know how well it sold, but The World Ends with You seems like it wouldn't sell very well in the states.
And finally, Monster Hunter Tri didn't do very well in the U.S (Although every kid and they're mom owns it in Japan). Capcom made a big mistake making it exclusive to the Wii.

Psychonauts and Shadow of Rome. I wont go into detail about psychonauts because doubtless you know all about it, but Shadow of Rome was actually quite a deep and immersive game once you got into it. The stealth sections broke up the heavy combat sections nicely, even if they did fade out close to the end in favour of a more "kill everything and kill it now" approach. Being able to buy a tiger for my house was a nice touch too, even if it did kill me every so often.

Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines

Most fun mindfuck I've ever had in a videogame. Hint: Play as clan Malkavian. EVERYTHING IS BETTER WHEN YOU'RE A BROKEN MIRROR.

Unreal Tournament 3

I dont know how it did in sales necessarily but the MMO Aion. I thought it would have been more popular than it became.

Sonic Adventure 2: Battle and Banjo and Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts

Both amazing and solid games, both on my top 10 best games. Severely underrated and people just assume the gimmicks are bad but in these they really add to the game (building sweet vehicles with springs and crap? Awesome! Treasure hunting and caring for Chao? AMAZING!)

Not saying a whole lot, is it? Think about it's competition.

The Transformers movie games. Yeah.

Probably Pokemon Mystery Dungeon:Red/Blue. It didn't completely bomb, as they did make two sequels. But for how well the typical sales for a Diamond/Pearl type game are, it didn't do that well. But it is an awesome dungeon crawler that has so much customization due to the number of pokemon you could recruit. Plus the story was very well done. So many critiques disliked it and so many people haven't player it. What a shame.

I agree with you on Sonic Adventure 2:Battle. That game definitely remains my all time favorite Sonic game. I always wonder why so many people are so down on it.
