My favorite is Okami, i love the combat in it, i know the new weapons you get makes the game unbalanced but its still fun to play and it has my favorite character in it, Susano, i love how he doesn't care about anything and just keeps getting dragged into it and how he finally defeats Orochi with the help of Amaterasu

Morrowind and KOTOR 1 and 2 were both great games aswel.
but my favourite non this gen game would be monster hunter freedom 2 for the psp, iv spent over 1000 hours on that game =]

i really like fable and morrowind. there's also splinter cell chaos theory, the jak games (jak and daxter, jak II, jak III), and the metal gear solid games. I've also recently been taking back up some interest in doom 3, some of the old elder scrolls games, champions of norrath, the lord of the rings movie games for ps2, and king's field: the ancient city.

too many good games on the previous generation of hardware to pick favorites.
