Pestilence.

It is just so awesome to use when you are losing
Combine it with something that gives immunity to black damage or Urza's Armour (reduces all damage taken by 1. And then use pestilence in 1 mana shots :D ) and you don't take any damage. I actually had a pestilence deck combined with white creatures that had permanent prot. from black and Worship (enchantment, your life total cannot be reduced to zero as long as you have a creature).

EDIT: And then simply spam Pestilence for all it's worth. Very nice in late game when you have over 8 mana/ turn to use. A few dark rituals and you can kill enemies in a single turn :D :D

Silhana Ledgewalker is actually a pretty powerful creature, especially in combination with this:
and
There are some other nifty enchantments that go well with it ofc, but this is a personal favorite!

Protection from Black does not save you from Pestilence because it is not a targeted ability. Just wanted to point that out (same reason as Protection from White does not save you from Wrath of God).

EDIT: Sorry bout that, I thought Immunity = Protection. You can use Circle of Protection: Black to shield yourself from Pestilence.

Raging Goblin ftw! Nothing like playing a draft game and picking up as many as you can to annoy your opponent to death. Plus in the past i've always loved the pictures and quotes for them.

Its a shame my local store closed or i'd still be playing.

I'd have to go with this:

Best game-destroying card ever. And the best part was: you had to literally RIP THE CARD INTO PIECES in order to use it.

the dead are the perfect servants, they never tire, never grow hungry, and don't mind when a few limbs are cut off

Christ I haven't played MtG since I was at school. Nearly managed to get the guys at college into it... but we were to busy getting hammered.

The rules also changed and new abilities had appeared since I last played it

WTF is shroud? lol Similar to Phasing at all?

I remember this being my prize card in the 6 man games

Freaking ridiculous, Oh dear, I'm now 60 levels higher than all of you.

Problem is though you need at least 2 in your deck because becoming the most powerful player in a multiplayer game is never good.

I missed my old deck.. 4x Spore Frog, Lull, Fog, and Respite. I can go forever without taking a single combat damage. Of course I get owned very badly against any spell decks. Oh, how I missed making decks just to annoy people.

My new favorite has to be Memory Sluice. You can burn so many cards so easily.

Goblin Lackey, mainly because it allows me to play my other fave, Siege Gang Commander, turn TWO.
"Turn one, play Goblin Lackey. Turn two, play Goblin Piledriver, attack with Goblin Lackey, play Goblin Warchief. Turn three, win the game."

"Turn one, play Goblin Lackey. OK, I see you've put a creature into play. Sacrifice two red cards, play Pyrokinesis. Play Goblin Piledriver, attack with Goblin Lackey, play Goblin Warchief. I win again."
I like your style. I usually just Shock whatever creature comes into play, swing and swing into a Siege Gang. SG turn two ALWAYS results in insta-scoop.

That Skullclamp has such a ridiculously underprised manacost that it shouldn't have ever even been made.... I mean, 1 mana for a permanent +1/+1 and draw 2 cards when the creature it's attached to dies.

That's insane.
