Ah! So there they were. I was looking for those but in the wrong blocks...I was really really convised they were from latter blocks...fail me.Knonsense said:I dunno about that. How about these:oliveira8 said:There wasnt alot of cards that could beat the Collosus when it got released. And all those cards came after Mirrodin block. Tho I'm sure there was a couple of "Remove X when Y from game." cards like Resounding Silence. I remenber Swords of the Plowshares or something but that card was OLD!Knonsense said:*snip*
Also when Collosus was out there was this card hanging around on the same block.

True, but you can still float the mana for Apocalypse and then laugh as the exact same thing happens to their permanents.Knonsense said:You have to be really careful with something like Worldgorger Dragon. If someone gets rid of it with the comes into play ability on the stack, your permanents come back to play before they leave, which is really, really bad.jimBOFH said:That's why I like Apocalypse so much. It completely wipes the board- unless you have a Worldgorger Dragon in play that is.
Protection from all colors means you can't use spells on it either. And it never gets destroyed, just tossed back into your library like darksteel.oliveira8 said:Ah. Didnt know what protection of everything meant. Thought it was like the DarkSteel ability.Knonsense said:*snip*
But The Prog isnt an industractable creature then? Then its not that scary! Since the Collosus just cant be destroyed or recieve any damage!
Dont really remenber any cards that can destroy the Collosus, but I stopped playing around Fifth Dawn and my MTG database is pretty much forgotten.
I have the Darksteel magazine around here...hmmm
About Progenitus- It can't be targeted or damaged by anything, but it can still be affected by global spells and destroyed (e.g. Wrath of God, Apocalypse, Flowstone Slide, Bane of the Living, Wash Out- all of those will affect it)CoziestPigeon said:Protection from all colors means you can't use spells on it either. I think you're referring to Krosan Cloudscraper:NeoDeath90 said:I've had brief encounters with the game and learned i was never any good at it. But from what I remember, I've gotta say i like the "Somthing Skypiercer" or something like that. No idea what the name of it really was, but it was this badass looking ogre thing.
