Some sort of poisoned umbrella for sneaky tactics, but if everything goes up shit creak, I'll just beat the enemies with my fists.
... Or the umbrella.

The crowbar.

I don't know why, but I just like the idea of an everyday tool being used to bring down totalitarian alien regimes and survive zombie apocalypses. It's simple, it's effective, it's useful for more besides bashing in skulls and it requires absolutely no training to use. Truly the weapon of any free man.

Also, chainswords from Warhammer 40,000. It's a chainsaw, but also a sword. Awesome.

Wait I have another one! A rat flail!!! Nothing says payback by hitting someone with a bubonic plague affected rat.

The Soul Reaver. Who wouldn't want a ridiculous wavy sword that devours the souls of those it kills?
Yes but it has a tendency to drain the life one who wields it... Doesn't it? I need to go back and play them.

Mine would be the Med-Pack in L4D considering an hour ago I killed a Tank with it 0.0
You sir, are my hero....... A++
I am humbled by your generous words.

Shiskebab, a flaming sword that doesn't work with magic.
Exactly why it was my favorite weapon in Fallout 3.

Either that or the crowbar from Half-Life.

I think being able to wield Mjolnir (Thor's hammer) would be pretty awesome. Failing any mythical stuff like that, a pair of long knives would be all I'd want.

Soap-on-a-Rope. I don't know WHY they haven't put that into a video game yet.
How about 'soap-in-a-sock'? Or 'quarters-in-a-sock'?

Honestly, I like my SCA sword... a 34" long, 1.5" wide rattan stick with 2 layers of fibre-tape and 2 layers of hockey tape. It's about 4.5lbs, and I can basket-punch, if I'm not actually using it for SCA combat. In SCA combat, that's a no-no.

(Just kiddin'. I like to poke fun, as long as fun doesnt poke really hard back at me.)

OT: The Power-Fist from Fallout 3. Who doesnt like a giant glove that makes you punch like a jack-hammer?
Haha a fellow Power Fist lover! I think the only thing that could make it better is if there were counterparts for your legs.
Small world! There's nothin like punching some Stealth-Boys and SACing an enemy from behind. Especially if you have bloody mess.

IRL goes to the halberd. If you don't feel like stabby-stabby, you can go choppy-choppy, and with that baby's length, you don't even have to be close.

Crowbar. All HL references aside, you have a light, high damaging weapon that also happens to good for something else.

Frostmourne from WarCraft 3. It just has a classic "cursed, soul-stealing sword" mythos to it, and they did a good job of making Arthas' sacrifice seem worthwhile, as nothing stands for long against Frostmourne.

Does that not count because you don't wield it directly? Ok then, the pyro's Axtinguisher from TF2. What's not to like? It's a fire axe needlessly (but awesomely) wrapped in barbed wire, and seeing pyros chasing their targets around -with their wild, cartoonish overhead swings- never ceases to amuse.

I thought the dragon fire sword from Fable 1 looked pretty cool. One day lady gray just walked up to me and handed to me. Awesome day...

I am a large fan of butterfly knives/balisongs. Never knew what they were until TF2, but now between the boyfriend and I, we have had 5 knives. Down to three because we broke two, oops.

My other choice, which I do not yet own, would be modified tonfa that Talim has in the Soul Calibur series.
