Magmar. Most underappreciated Pokemon ever.

They finally gave him an evolution in D/P, I believe, so maybe he'll get some more respect.

I have to go cut myself now after searching for it on that website, with pokemon like Combee [http://www.psypokes.com/dex/psydex/415/general] and every other 'new' DS pokemon, it clearly shows they have no ideas left.
I don't know what's worse, the new [http://www.psypokes.com/dex/psydex/427/general] pokemon [http://www.psypokes.com/dex/psydex/470/general] or the horrible [http://www.psypokes.com/dex/psydex/431/general] names [http://www.psypokes.com/dex/psydex/440/general].(I know the original games had some horrible ones, but there isn't' a single decent name in the DS version)

On-topic, I always liked Gengar, Pinsir, Muk, Scyther and Nidoking. They were always in my team, with Blastoise or a gamesharked Mew with all important HMs.(fly, cut, strength and surf)

Articuno, probably. Not the best ice-type from a strategic standpoint, but I think it's beautiful and its attacks are pretty sweet. Actually come to think of it I have a tendency also to like the evolved bird-types like Pidgeot and all of its later-generation equivalents.

Lanturn, with the ability Volt Absorb. Heals from electric attacks and is cute to boot! Cubone is pretty sweet too, I guess. (See avatar)

Charazard has always been awesome
Scyther was pretty BA as well
Salamence and Tyranatar are some ofthe best Dragon pokemon in awhile
But my favourite right now has to go to Chimchar/monferno/infernape, because who can say no to a fire martial arts monkey?

You know Tyranitar is Dark/Rock, right?
And in reply to your failchar/failferno/failfernape comment, a lot of people can say no. Because they're too similar to the Sapphire/Ruby/Emerald fire starter. Oh and it sucks aswell.

Well, I have quite alot of love for the dragon type, the only problem being is the only good ones are freakin' legendaries, seriously, try finding a GOOD dragon type that isn't legendary and doesn't have a 4X weakness to ice, it is balls.

Octillery, that thing is damn sexy!
Arcanine, seriously, Entei has nothing on Arcanine
Scyther, one of the few decent bug types
Electabuzz, was my main pokemon in Red version, will always love that thing
and finally, Latios, psychic/dragon? YES PLEASE!
