I don't remember the actual quotes exactly, but I think it went roughly like this.
In Seiken Densetsu 3, when the characters were examining a bookshelf.
Almost all the characters: *reading the books normally*
The kid character (Carlie or Charlotte depending on the version): *slowly sounding out the first few words* ...It's too hard! Carlie can't read!
Almost all the characters: *finds a naughty magazine* !
