I know this topic's been done a few times before, so I'm gonna repeat myself too, just everything from Painkiller, the electrodriver is great, sure, but so is the grenade launching stake gun, I mean you can fire a grenade up, fire a stake at the grenade and it'll (I assume) puncture the grenade and keep going, almost turning the grenade into a rocket. Then there's the weapon in the usual FPS 'Fist' slot, not only is it a lawnmower, its also a grappling hook and a laser trap. Everything in that game was so inventive, considering you only had like 5 actual weapons, there was about 20 ways to kill people.

Honestly, its dirt cheap on Steam, I think, go try it if you like FPS games!

Oh, and I remember in... Die Hard Arcade for the Sega Saturn, I think? You could pick up a mop and beat the heck out of people with it, that was cool.

The Chozo Battle Suit, and all that goes with it:
Wave, Ice, Plasma, Power, Charge, Wide/Spazer beams.
Bombs, Power Bombs.
Missiles of various sorts, most notably Super and Ice, although Seeker Missiles are awesome.
Grapple Beam.
Boost Ball.
Screw. Motherfucking. Attack.

Holy Negotiator and XM313 Raptor from Hellgate: London.
And of course, the stake gun. Nothing feels better than impaling baddies to walls

You beat me too it, you swine. However, it frankly is amazing and i would also like to nominate the Crossbow from HalfLife 2.
Just for being amazing amounts of Rape and being the weapon with a shitty supply of ammo throughout the game.

The Splitter from Resistance: Fall of man, or the one from Paikiller that shoots shurikens and lightning.

Lancer, I'm surprised it took such a long time for a game to feature a gun with a chainsaw, I mean they're like peanut butter and chocolate
I know right?
I'm gonna say: The Chicago typewriter from RE4

I forgot the name... I think "Farsight"... from Perfect Dark (N64) which could see through and shoot through everything.

I love that gun.

If anyone tried to sneak up on me while I used it, I whipped out the rocket launcher and blew them to kingdom come.
That was the best gun in that game for sure, my friends got so pissed at me...

I can't pick just one, lol. I'm gonna say Portal gun, rifles and pistols from Mass Effect, and pulse rifle from Dead Space. I'm a huge scifi nerd.

The M1 garand with a bayonet in COD:WAW. I just love the satisfying look on your opponents face when you skillfuly drive a bayonet into their chest while they scream at you over XBL.

I like the shotgun in Halo and Gears of War. Otherwise, its sniper all the way for me, I'm a very tactical and stealthy sort of person (sadly on Halo multiplayer my teammates like to charge in guns blazing which means they always die, never listening to my plans when playing...)

The lancer from Gears of War, it has a chainsaw on it for christ sakes.
Yeah, it's a great gun, but why a chainsaw of all things? Logically thinking, it's probably the dumbest thing you could put on the end of a gun. (Limited fuel supply, too noisy, too heavy, and let's not even go into getting shot in the fuel tank.)
