Favourite/best opening sequence in a game?

Final Fantasy 8.
When I first turned on the system and put the game in I left the room briefly. When I came back, I saw the waves crashing on the beach. It looked and sounded so great, I thought I forgot to turn the TV to input channel. When I pressed the button, there was some show on. So I flipped back, saw the rest of the intro, and said "Holy crap! That IS the game!"
Plus the music was some of the best music I ever hear in a game.

Dawn of War. The opening cinematic is amazingly dramatic, with the lone space marine bravely climbing a mountain to plant his chapter banner, shrugging off machine gun fire, while drop pods scream to the ground in the background. Not to mention the incredible battle that took place right before that.

My emotional inner gamer would have to go with Ocarina Of Time.
Half Life 1 & 2 are top of the top also. As is the beginning of Grim Fandango.
It's not an opening sequence but when you exit the cave for the first time and see the vast world, that's just awe inspiring.
As a special mention, MLB 09: The Show has a pretty darn cool and engaging opening sequence (the Then & Now sequences).
