Also, Nemesis from the original Black and White. The way the sky darkens when he arrives and personally trashes your village with divine wrath is an example for evil gods everywhere.

And Sheogorath because he's funny.
oh god I'd forgotten about nemesis. I still think fervus would kick his ass though.

Please send me your reasons and I'll be happy to discuss this with you in detail as a human being. However on a Game Discussion Thread this is just a cheap shot towards a worldwide faith of millions. Many will take this as an insult made by someone who just wanted a cheap laugh. Now if you are serious about making such claims you'd better have something to back that up. If not I suggest you refrain from making such ignorant claims. Shalom.
well the absolute and total lack of evidence seems like a great reason to hold that position (though technically Jesus isn't a god he is the son of god, he's like a Greek hero but less awesome)
What kind of evidence do you want? Historical, Evidential, or would you like to examine the profile on Jesus Christ? Please send me a private message and I'll be happy to answer any questions you have.

Jesus Christ is God. Mary Magdalene was only the one to carry Jesus Christ. You are honestly comparing him to Hercules and Greek mythology?

Please send me a private message to explain your beliefs or state your opinions in the Religion & Politics forum. I would be happy to go in-depth discussion with you on faith and beliefs; I know you can be more mature than that.
I don't think there was anything immature about what I said.
You can't make such a claim without reasons. Einstein didn't walk into the universities and say, "E=mc2" and just leave. He explained his theory and gave his reasons. By the way, even Einstein believed that the world was too organized for a chaotic birth to create all that you see every day. He spent years searching for truth and came to the conclusion athat some metaphysical force exists out there to have created all of this.

Not only that, you singled out Yahweh for emphasis as if to insult Christianity in particular. It makes you look like you want attention, like you want to get some people mad, and regardless of that not being your original intention a statement like yours gives the impression of immaturity and ignorance.

I'd be happy to discuss with you privately, but this is a Game Discussion Thread. Shalom.
if you don't want to discuss it then stop bringing it up. But since you have brought it up, I call bullshit. Einstein specifically said that he believes in Spinoza's god. Spinoza's god is the universe itself, i.e. pantheism, i.e. not an actual god. So Einstein was in awe of the universe and its magnificence, he was a pantheist not a theist nor a deist.
No I DO want to discuss this just not on this thread. Send me private messages with your questions and I'll get to them as soon as possible, but it's late and I'm tired.

The Lady of Pain from PS:T if you killed too many innocents she'd float over out of know where then make your character stop existing then you get a message on the screen.
Game over: You no longer exist and must load from a previous save.

A god? Hmmm. Vecna's always fun. Also partial to Ilsensine.

If we distort the definition of god slightly (since several of these started off as gods of rival faiths) then I'd say my favorites are the Binsfeldian versions of Lucifer, Leviathan, Satan, Belphegor, Mammon, Beelzebub, and Asmodeus. Most specifically Belphegor and to a lesser extent Asmodeus, for if ever I had dark patrons it would most certainly be them.

(And now let's see how many people catch why I named those seven....)

I'd like you to show me evidence that he was the sun of god, shit if you had actual evidence for that you'd change the entire world. But of course you don't have any evidence that Jesus was the son of god, and evidence that Jesus existed is tenuous at best. (not that it matters whether or not he existed) So yes I'm comparing Jesus to Hercules and Greek religion you'd have to be blind to not see the similarities.
Monothiestic and polytheistic religions are completely different. If you see similarities, you need your eyes checked.

Just to correct you there, Mary Magdalene was the prostitute, not Mary the mother.

OT: Who's the Viking bloke that resides over Valhalla? Sounds like a hell of a place.

EDIT: NO WAIT SHIT the Chaos Gods from Warhammer 40K rock.
Oh man I can't believe I typed that out. I'm so out of it write now.

Correction: Mary

Goodnight, I hope you received the message I wrote in your inbox and I'll talk to you later. Goodnight and God Bless you.

*ugh...* Look, being "anti-religious" doesn't make you cool. I'm getting sick of every thread I go in having a thousand "Look at me! I'm atheist! I'm an individual! I'm not a conformist!" comments. Seriously. You know what he's talking about, so there's no reason to be a condescending jerk about it. It's like if him saying "What's your favorite video game item?" and you saying "Well, technically they aren't really items because they're just a mass of pixels that look like items." But I'm just preaching to a brick wall. I had to get it off my chest because it's really annoying. Welcome to the internet, you know?
win. the pointless religion trolling gets old here sometimes

I really haven't played many games with fictional deities, so I guess I'll say whatever that giant monster from the PoP reboot was.
Non video game: Jacob or the Man in Black.

I do consider all gods fictional, but for the sake of the argument:

Aphrael the child goddess of Styricum (Elenium Series)
Aldur the eldest of the seven gods (Malloreon Series)
Darkseid (DC)
Kwisatz Haderach (Paul Muad'dib Atraides, not exactly a god, but close enough)
Galactus (Marvel)
God-Emperor of Mankind (Warhammer 40k)

I'm gonna go for the Valar, from Tolkien's works - all of them are pretty cool.

I guess if I was to pick one, Yavanna for making the two trees (and ents!).

Also, I always liked Hircine from The Elder Scrolls.
