No, indeed you are not the only person to know about Katamari Damacy, though given the obscure little gem it is it's unlikely it's common knowledge. I have it on three friends' accounts that Beautiful Katamari for the Xbox 360 was the first in the series. They never believe me when I say there were dozens before that.

I'd say it was more to do with the fact that we've joined on the same day and are managing setting up our accounts and posting on the forums to establish ourselves. I'd also say that we should discuss the topic rather than derail into discussions about irony.
