diablo II. yeah, its pretty outdated now, but i still love the game, and the talents tree are soem of the best ive ever seen. better then those of WOW and other games. because the was not one way to creatte your class. but for each playstyle you had your own way of filling the talent tree. and yeah, i'm hyped for part 3.

Bioshock is a good shout, really like it.

My favourite game has to be Fable though. It was funny, pretty, combat was good and easy to use, characters were brilliant (I <3 Jack of Blades so much) and the story was interesting. I've not found another game since that manages to hit all those boxes so well.
Goold ol' Fable XD it went downhill after the first one i think, i mean i like certain features of 2 and 3 but the first one is by far the best, i hate how they removed armor from the game after the first ):

Jeeze guys, he just signed up. I'm glad people weren't this hostile to me when I first joined.

My favorite game ever is Resident Evil 4. It was my first M rated game and my first real experience with a video game adventure. At any moment, you could be in a castle, underground ruins, a swamp, a village, a construction site, a creepy old hospital, or a forest. The boss fights were big and exciting and the graphics were some of the best for a PS2 game. It's still an epic game to this day and it was really the game that bridged the gap from casual to hardcore for me.

And? if you're gonna make a thread at least pop the search bar..

Plus, who doesn't lurk for a while before making an account?
I didn't. Loads of people who sign up don't. Not everyone is cursed with this shyness and total fear of ridicule that causes people to lurk.
Exactly :) see, it isnt just me ^_^ thank you! :)

I'd probably have to say the Majora's Mask, as it really affected me as a child. The game retains its feeling of impending doom years on.

Mass Effect 1 was much better than the 2nd although i didnt like some stuff in the first it still is far better than its sequel, pokemon games win over all games haha XD pokemons always been amazing and hopefully always will be :p

It's difficult for me to narrow down just one game, but if I was forced to I would go with..

..Mercenaries: Playground of Destruction.

There was just something about it; the voice acting, gameplay, setting, atmosphere, factions, characters, story, dialogue and humour.

Other great games would be the original Crash and Spyro games, Dynasty Warriors 4, Ratchet and Clank series, jak and Daxter series, Resistance: Fall of Man and Fallout: New Vegas.

For PC it's definately Dawn of War and the expansions.

I absolutely love OoT, it's basically just the relative innovation with MM that gives it the edge for me. Got to love spinning around with the goron mask!

Rock Band

It is the only game I've ever played that instills a sense of accomplishment even after many years of playing the game. I should note, however, I only get this feeling with drums. The game in no way teaches you how to become a better vocalist, the guitar feels too much like a game rather than a tool...and the keyboard simply doesn't have the song support to make you want to keep at it.

There would be many traditional games hovering around 2nd place including Diablo2, Warcraft3, Resident Evil 4, Tales of Symphonia, Dragon Age: Origins, Final Fantasy 6, Advanced Wars 2.

Definitely gotta be Chrono Trigger on the Super Nintendo.

An amazing story line with great characters, a wonderful battle system, and gameplay that lets you replay again and again.
