The new producers with Will Ferrel...YEAH ALRIGHT I prefer it to the old one, but this is made up somewhat by my love of Blazing Saddles...

You sure Bowie would have made a better Joker? I mean, we're talking guy who sang 'Little Drummer Boy' with Bing Crosby' [//www.youtube.com/watch?v=DiXjbI3kRus] vs. the nutjob from The Shining [//www.youtube.com/watch?v=_0fgAfo-e3w] - I'd be hard pressed to see Bowie as the more suitable candidate.

Have you seen labyrynth? because i can imagine David Bowie in there as Joker
But chosen over Jack Nicholson? I just don't see it.
Its just my personal opinion, and that fact that he was Tim Burton's first choice is also a huge indication of just what could have been.

in this tone then, Do you prefer Nicholson's Joker or Ledger's Joker?

A lot of guilty pleasures here that I actually consider to be quite respectable pleasures; The Iron Giant, Predator, Wallace & Gromit, Who Framed Roger Rabbit. These are like classics. Next thing you're gonna say The Lost Boys is a guilty pleasure.

Hudson Hawk
Howard the Duck
Last Action Hero
Starship Troopers

Now those are some real guilty pleasures.

It's not really a guilty pleasure movie, but I sometimes like to watch Friends if I want a brainless bit of fluff to watch, or if I am doing something different and I want some background noise or something. If there is a brainless bit of entertainment, then that's it for me.

Aside from the scene where Jason Statham was humping old granny's to stay alive (which imo was pretty stupid), i thought Crank 2 was amazing, and funny too.

'GET TO DA CHOPPA' yeah, I like when silly action movies don't pretend to be something other than a silly action movie. Also, it's quotable as hell. Also, Fritz the Cat if only because people seem to immediately think you're a furry depsite A) not being porn B) the anthropomorphism being used for satire C) being made before the fucking Internet existed. Also, the American Pie (or at least the first 2) movies because something doesn't have to be clever to be funny.

This is the best monster movie ever by far, forget all your newfangled 'megafish' and 'giant oysters' :)

OT 'Jingle all the way' is probably my favourite guilty pleasure Arnie movie (he beats up a warehouse full of santas and punches a reindeer!), and you can't help but love ridiculous sci fi films like plan 9 or GI joe (They must be using the particle accelerator to weaponise their nanomachine warheads!)

The Balto sequels. I dunno why but I cannot tolerate bad live-action stuff as well as animation. Don't get me wrong, I love lolling over how bad some movies are...but they have to be Batman and Robin-level obvious. XD

Ep1 Yoda was pure sacrilege.
...Why?
Honestly, it was horrible. If they were going to use a puppet, they should have contacted the guys that made the first one, because it didn't even look right. They may as well have just gone right ahead with the CGI.

I don't consider my thing with Disney movies to be a guilty pleasure, per se. Hmmm... I don't know, I've seen Interview With The Vampire like 200 times. Since last Summer. That might be as good as it gets for me.

Josie and the Pussycats... hmm... honestly, it's not a guilty pleasure for me. I really dig that film.

While it sounds like I'm being a hipster, I don't like to say I have "guilty pleasures", just movies that I should probably know better than to like.

On topic! Deep Blue Sea and Jurassic Park 3. Both are really silly, but so boldly entertaining, I have to love them.
