Most of these games are mentioned fairly regularly around here.

Honestly, I'm not even sure why you thought Enslaved, Odin Sphere, Shadow Hearts and Resonance of Fate and Trine are obscure at all. Those are so well known they're almost mainstream.

Klonoa: When a game has multiple sequels (between multiple console and handhelds) it ceases to be obscure.

Jet Set Radio - Okay, it was on the doomed Dreamcast but remains one of the most well known titles for that system. And it was then remade for XBox - so yeah, a little obscure - but has a strong cult following.

Power Stone: Again, Dreamcast. Again, ported to another system (PSP). Sequel then made for PSP. Again, a very strong cult following.

Siren, Obscure: Horror genre. I'm not a fan of that genre and my knowledge of it is admittedly limited. But I do recognize those titles nonetheless. They can't be all that Obscure (no pun intended) if I recognize.

Haunting Ground: You win with this one. Never heard of it.
You're joking. Nearly mainstream? What type of exaggeration is that? Just because people on this particular site are familiar with them, does NOT make them mainstream. It just depends on where you go. On one of the sites I visit a great deal of people know about Haunting Ground, but that doesn't make it mainstream. But YOU don't know about it and suddenly it therefore deserves to be called obscure.

Obscure = didn't have commercial success.

NO WAY I'M READING 7 PAGES!!!

I list Xenosaga Episode I: Der Wille zur Macht. Sure Soul Calibur let you cosplay as her, but I NEVER hear about Xenosaga...
Is this too new to make the list? Because I haven't played anything old that I never hear about, except MAYBE for Super Probotector.

I have 2: Metal Arms: A Glitch in the System and God Hand. Not exactly unheard of, but you'll find more than a few people who have no idea what either game is.

Simply put, God Hand is a game about - ahem - dragon-kicking someone's ass into the Milky Way, and Metal Arms is about dismantling evil robots (trust me, it's a lot more fun than it sounds).

Tomba! [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tomba!] 1 and 2. I don't know how obscure these games were elsewhere, but I know that they were basically unheard of around here when they came out (and still are today).
THANK YOU! I thought I was the only person who knew what Tomba is. It's sad that such a good platformer has always been so obscure.

As far as recent games go though, it's too bad that Ghost Trick hasn't gotten a lot of attention, but it's been out for less than two months, so it might be too early to judge. Some of the games that surprised me though from this decade were The World Ends With You, Hotel Dusk, and Machinarium

Try not to list any games from like the 1990's and I know a lot of these threads are made but this time you CANNOT list one that has been listed.
The problem wiht that is not everyone has the time to run through all the posts, so unless you put all the stuff thats been said on the first post, its just not going to work. Also, why not the 1990s?

OT: Michigan: Report From Hell.

its a PS2 game where you play as the camera man, and is truly one of the few games that I ever saw that was innovating.

Not reading through 8 pages to figure out if people have listed the games, but here we go. Tales of Phantasia, was only released on GBA in North America, and I've only ever seen it at one store ever (I had to buy it). Originally was a SNES game, later ported to the PSOne, then ported to GBA. PSOne version is supposed to be the best. But of course North America gets the worst version (IMO). Still, great RPG.

Tecmo's Deception and Kagero, Deception 2. Both are very interesting games, pitting you as the bad guy. I loved those games. Both of them got stolen from me

Hmmm... Front Mission for the SNES (later released on Gameboy DS) is epic amazing. Love the game.

Can't think of any more. :)

The Suffering. One of the scariest survival action horror games ever made. I've yet to play a game as scary as The Suffering. It's set in a prison which is scary enough on it's own with out the various hell spawn running around killing everyone.

I'm pretty sure that game is free now.
It is. you can get it here.

Iron grip warlord. It's a multiplayer FPS tower defense like game. If you can get a game online (the community is a bit dead) it can be an incredibly addicting game.

Mine has to be Fatal Frame 3 and Vanquish. Anytime I ask anybody if they have heard of them/played them they look at me like I'm crazy.

I didn't feel like reading the whole 7 pages of thread, but I would definitely say Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance 2 was a really fun game. I know the series as a whole is well known, but I haven't met many friends who have actually played that game.

Pretty much any space flight sim. The Wing Commander, Privateer, FreeSpace games... and to a lesser extent, X-Wing, TIE Fighter and X-Wing vs. TIE Fighter.

Condemned, Does ANYONE besides me remember that game?!
I loved the first one! The second one removed ALL mystery though. :( I still enjoyed playing it, but the first one was better at the "ambient scares" or what have you.

Klonoa: Door to Phantomile

Everytime I mention it to one of my friends, I get a raised eyebrow. It's a FANTASTIC little platformer on the PSX. Amazing freaking game.

Mischief Makers

Another obscure fun little platformer on the N64, but no one I know has heard of it. Which sucks, because this game is FREAKING AWESOME.

Well sadly these are 90s games but i have to say stonekeep one of the best dungeon games ive ever played with one hell of a storyline and The tone rebellion and i know for fact hardly anyone even bought a truly beautiful game if you can look past the 2.5d graphics with one of the best and most immersive sound track of any game ever although the game play does leave something to be desired
Also i know its already been mentioned but i just have to give a shout out to whip lash an incredibly annoying but at time but hilarious game ill never forget
