I'm spending Sunday shivering on the side of the Thames, as my fella's competing in a kayak race. So it won't be exactly romantic!!!

First Valentines Day with a girlfriend so I'm gonna enjoy it. But secretly inside I still hate it because of all the commercialism and ads saying you basically have to buy crap to make your love happy on that day. But anyways, I'll still enjoy it and have fun.

Well, I have a girlfriend, and this will be my first V-day with someone, so I'm a bit amused. I'm gonna make her something, get her some good books and chocolate, and say happy V-day. As for what the day means to me, it's just a designated day to do something really affectionate. The community I frequent the most (sans the internet) is having a dance/party thing as they usually do, so I guess I'm looking forward to that. Their good at making celebrations.

Just another day when it comes down to it. I for one will be doing what i do every sunday, Playing xbox very loudy and drinking beers as my flatmate has sex with his girlfriend in the next room..........
