Because xbox users (most of them) are retards. Did... did you not see the pantless xbox commercial?
I personally like these backed up little bastards whose virginity will be lost to a man in prison. You shoot/run them over/set them on fire/crash a plane into them/make them draw 4/steal the last medkit in front of them/boot them, and then humbly apologize to the girl on behalf of my gender.
I've apologized a few times, and had a nice chat with those ladies, and had fun.

I play TF2 on PC and although girls are usually fairly rare, they're also usually friendly and everyone else is friendly to them, although i just got out of a game where some girl was being a real ***** -.-

I actually find the opposite to be true. There are a lot of whores on games who go there to get attention. Its not that noticeable on xbox live but play any MMO and the women there are disgusting. I played wow for 2 years+ and their are quite a few slutty girls on there and a lot of nerds give them attention, and yeah I think they were all ugly, I've seen pics/social sites. I was just helping some girl with some Arena tips and she started sending sexual messages... and I have gotten invited by a friend to vent/private channels and these girls are just... sluts. I didn't even know this was a girl I just give tips to bads and maybe help them.
Other times like in guild chat talking about very graphic sexual things. And I know they are girls because I hear them on vent. In FPS I didn't experience it much or xbox live at all, but in MMO's its a MUCH different story. You'd be surprised how many nude pics forums and links have gone out over wow in trade chat or guild or whatever.
Generally on Xbox girls do get harassed which is stupid and counterproductive if you think your gonna get action from some random chick who is impressed by your mad skills. I knew an MLG girl and she was awesome and we used to talk and stuff but it wasn't anything more than a gamer friend. I don't think I've ever harassed any girl, in fact I talk smack to guys but not to the girls just because I think that is messed up. But yeh on WoW/MMO's there are lots of whores, I don't know if its a large percent but I was really shocked how often girls were like that. I remember a girl would moan for loot and the nerds all were like "YEAH YEAH" and I gquit soon after rofl. Idiots.

My profile isn't an attention whore photo of myself and the only reference to me being female is my real first name so friend with huge friends lists can remember who I am, and new friends can be sure it's me.
