Why does it look like someone just is wearing a Turian mask over burn scars? Oh well, I don't care, the only Turian for me is Garrus.

About bloody time, it only took them 3 games even though they are suppose to be common and lots of people were asking for them.
Anyway she looks good though the eyes look a bit weird and make it look like she is wearing mask. I'm glad they didn't try and make her "sexy" even if they did humanise her more than the males. Of course it would have looked stupid if they had tried but that hasn't stopped others.

I think it's pretty much the generic female turian we all expected. People have been drawing female turians for a long time and by far the most common approach was remove the spines and make the face less angled. Which is pretty much what they've done.

Odd, to me it looks like a human woman wearing a turian mask for halloween or something...

I always thought it would be cool if they looked almost identical to male Turians. It certainly wouldn't be out of place in the animal kingdom to have another species that most humans have difficulty sexing(that is to say classifying the sex, male or female, of something; and not... uh nevermind.)

This is already confirmed by Bioware though, Shepards trilogy is done; but there will be more Mass Effect games.

Cool. At first I thought she was wearing some kind of face mask, forgot how metallic turian skin was.

I was worried they were going to do a cop-out like with the female krogan and conceal her entire face. Don't get me wrong, I liked Eve and it made sense for her character, but still...bit lazy.

People are already speculating about a female turian squadmate, which'd be quite fun. Not as fun as the Prothean squad mate, but still.

I think it looks good. And I'm a resident ME3 hater around these parts. Female characters is a good way of expanding ME universe.

I wonder if she's flexible.

Cool, can't help but wonder why it took them so DAMN long to put female turians in Mass Effect. I mean according to the lore they should be as common as Male Turians, they've just never friggin shown up.
They were going to have female Turians in the first game, it just came down to production cost. It's a shame though, they're pretty...pretty.

There's been female Turians in the comics for a while, so it's not a complete shocker, but I'm still impressed.

Now we just need in game models for unmasked Quarians and I think we'v seen everything in-game.
Have we seen suit-less Volus yet? Always wondered what those little roly-poly guys look like under their suits.
Whoa you're right. Even doing a google search it only managed to dig up ONE [http://th05.deviantart.net/fs71/PRE/i/2012/037/e/4/male_volus_february_six_by_g_e_e_r_s-d4ovmtk.png] drawing that someones done.

Man people don't really like those guys.
Now that they're playable in multiplayer people love them XP

Yay for alien bird-women.

On a different note, her facial features look way too human-like.

Yes, they are the newest addition to the MP. The reactions were pretty diverse, but most people just thought it to be funny.

As for the turian female, she is pretty awesome. Granted, my expectations were pretty low to begin with, but nevertheless. Looking forward to the DLC.

Looks like a huskified vorcha. Which is kinda-sorta disappointing, I was hoping that the vorcha, with their super-regeneration, would be able to fight it off and be unhuskable.

In fact, for all this "machines vs organics" approach, I feel vorcha are underused. Because to me, their limited aptitude for technology, emotional (or instinctive) behaviour and extreme physical resilience make them polar opposites of the geth, paragons of un-machined biology. But all we got was cannon fodder in ME2. And a little bit in ME3.

See, I'm just as excited that the little portrait in the bottom corner confirms Aria will be a squadmate - I haven't been following the news very closely, and while I always assumed that's something that was on the cards, I don't know if I ever saw it confirmed.

As for female turians... I've got no problem with the design per se, I think it looks fine. But making them look so much different to male turians really does make it seem strange that we've never seen one before now.

Either way, call me a fanboy but I'm excited for the Omega DLC.

I'm Commander Oldmeme, and this is my favorite exo-skeletal dame on the Citadel.

...Actually, what am I even doing here? I don't play Mass Effect. Why did I even click on this forum?

So yeah, honestly doesn't look all that different from the "retconned" female turian that appeared in one of the comics about a year ago. It looks okay I guess. Looks like a more feminine turian... wouldn't bang, but then I don't think most women want to bang Garrus for his beak either.

I haven't bought any DLC for ME3 and don't plan to buy this one, but I am glad they have finally included female turians in the game. About damn time.

What do you guys think?
i think part of the feminity of this particular female turian is the location and colour of her clan markings and the fact she lacks the distinctive crest of males. Garrus' mother didn't have them in the third mass effect homeworlds comic either, maybe it's how to distinguish males from females, personally i think it's about time they introduced them

Got to like the fact they stand on a box in the character customisation screen. :) It's just a pity they can't take cover or vault over the chest high walls (head high for the Volus though).

The thing is, now that the Geth and Cerberus have been given new units, the Reapers must be feeling a little left out. Surely, the ideal solution would be, given that the Volus have now joined the frontlines, the Reapers start indoctrinating Volus. They'd be like big disguisting armoured blobs rolling across the battlefield...
