Final Fantasy XIII. There were multiple times when I'd leveled my party as much as was allowed, followed an online (or even youtube) strategy guide and, failed miserably at what others described as easy fights. I made it to Chapter 11 though...and I was not impressed. I was glad to trade that one in.

So much.
My brother got quite grumpy once when we were playing. It was the last lap on vs, I was at the front, right near the finish line, my brother was right behind me, and then launched a red shell. This shell propelled me over the line to victory. :)
OT:
I was playing Bowsers inside story when I was bored, and there is this one battle near the end where at the end of the battle, you are trapped in a black hole and have to counter attack to kill it. Staying in the black hole damages you, but not the baddie. It was on about two hp, but I couldn't pull off the last counter. Went down from almost full hp to zero. Nearly snapped the DS in half.

One notable time I've RAEGD was during Majora's Mask in getting THAT FUCKING SUN MASK. I kept doing the entire chain over and fucking over again and would keep getting fucked over on the part with the conveyor belt, specifically the room with the block-pushing onto the switches. I RAEG-quit and almost made out like Card Crusher when I remembered that the game was being loaned to me by a friend of mine. Turns out the blue switches speed the belt up and hurries the mask along. >_>;

Another time would be thanks to that dear ol' friend o' mine, because this time he loaned me FFX-2 and the Bradygames guide that came with it. I used the book, being blissfully unaware of its suckitude. I was going as close to 100% as possible in one playthrough so I wouldn't have to repeat the steps in the second one. Then came the last chapter and I was at Kilika. Instead of Thonga and Meathead reuniting as a couple, I see a single red balloon float up. I keep resetting and thinking I did something wrong in approaching Kilika. The Bradygames guide then mentions, at that late point of the game and guide, that I needed to talk to Thonga and Meathead every chapter and I apparently missed it because the guide didn't bother mentioning it, yunno, back then at the point when it would have been useful to know, like the second or third chapter or so. And then I saw red and punched the eject button on the PS2.

Worse yet, I find out later that my friend would've been fine if I totaled FFX-2 and the Bradygames guide, because he hated the game too.

I get severely pissed off by people who consider PS2 games "Old". Bloody hell, they are NOT "Old". They aren't brand new. But they're not fucking old or retro people.

GAAAAAAAWWWW.

If you rage like the OP claims, you need to do two things....

1 Stop playing video games.

2 Seek therapy.

But I am guessing this is a joke thread to be taken light heartily, eh?

If so, then don't joke about animal cruelty. It's not kewl.
It was to be taken lightly yes.. =) I'm not saying its cool and we should all beat up our expensive gaming equiptment but there are times when games push us. And they will push us. If people want to look back on those moments and laugh then they're welcome to here!
Thanks for the concern though ;)

You actually raged at I Wanna be the Guy? That game was actually made with the intention of the player losing. Over. And. Over. Again. I couldn't get mad at that game, because I knew what I was getting myself into ;)

The only game I have really flipped out on was Banjo Kazooie for the N64. I basically couldn't do the very final battle. My friends had managed to complete the game in like 4 days and it had taken me 4 months. I actually managed to do the final part to finish the game and it even started the final animation but just before the witch got me and I died during the animation, meaning it stopped and came up with "you died" or whatever.

I flipped out. I tore the cartridge out and threw it so hard that I properly broke it and then swore never to play it again.

To be fair, I have gotten so much better with my anger issues, this was like when I was 14 :p

Xbox Morrowind, when played on 360.
Off topic, but is that the regular Morrowind, or GOTY? If Morrowind GOTY runs on 360, I think I may have just found another excuse to postpone all that "important" stuff I need to do...eventually.
Both will work.

Just don't die. The game does the whole initial load again. And it's 3 fucking minutes. So, play a low-risk class.

Everything is relative. They might not be old to someone like me who is 30, but they are old to some younger gamers.

UNdead Nightmare: 10 running zombies, five of the Bolters that move even faster versus Marston's ambling gait and awkward manouevreability = frustration. Then having to deal with his herky jerky movement when looting the corpses is a pain in the arse. Could they not have fixed his movement and had some kind of auto-loot function?
Thank you for giving me yet another reason not to buy this... the more I hear about it the more it sounds like something I'm glad I didn't waste MS Points on.

Fucking zombie add ons.

This guy, on hard difficulty (aka veteran)
That sentence fills me with rage.

I mean really? You have to define the word hard as veteran for fear that people might not know what hard means unless you explain it?
See that's the kind of shit that makes me throw controllers.
