Has anyone ever seen a redead?
When I was 8, I didn't want to get the sun song because I was so afraid of those creepy bastards.

EDIT: Guy ninja's while I was posting, but someone's probably already said it...

Those head monsters from Dead Space.
Those ones that pop off your head, the crawl inside you and walk away.
That will never leave me.

I'm going to break this down my catagory

Books: Big Brother, just scary as hell

TV: Reavers, "If they take the ship, they'll rape us to death, eat our flesh, and sew our skins into their clothing. And if we're very, very lucky, they'll do it in that order." Do I have to say anything else?

Movies: The Borg, because having all traces of my individuality removed doesn't sound fun, oh also they just wont die.

Games: Collectors, because I don't want to be melted alive!

Kirby......

Freaky little bastard isnt he

EDIT:
Nothing Tra La La said:
Ninja'd; The Slender Man. He's just so... horrifyingly ominous. Ugh...
Also, the chick from the Grudge. I saw about 20 minutes into it, then promptly refused to ever watch the whole thing. Although, the Ring didn't phase me at all, must be that hair...

For any Buffy fans, the Gentlemen freak me the hell out. And that creepy lullaby the little girl sang at the beginning of the episode, whatthefaaack!

And, on a more psychological level, the step-father from Pan's Labyrinth. He was just so ruthless and merciless. It really got to me, especially when he was chasing Ophelia at the end.
My cousin is really into horror films and buffy and I spend a lot of holidays at her house in michigan, there is almost nothing to do there but watch movies, her movie collection is 75% horror (Never ever watch ANY japanese horror if you value your sleep) and 10% Buffy/Angel. So guess what I had to watch most of the time. Luckily after a few films I began to expect most of the jump out scares. Still slept horribly for weeks though.

I found the grudge probably be one of the creepiest movies of all time. It wasnt quite as scary after the first 20 minutes, it just got really unnerving when you start wondering when the girl would pop out.

I would like to thank you for reminding me about the gentlemen. I shall not sleep tonight and will have that song stuck in my head for the rest of the week.

I gotta say the crypt keeper from Tales From The Crypt because I was first introduced to him when I was really little, and of course the musical into to the show and the fact it was aired at night didn't help. Nevertheless, while I know he is just puppet, some part of me still has to turn away and mute the tv whenever the program comes on so I don't see the part where he jump out at you and only after that can I tolerate the program.

Alex Mercer from "Prototype". He can disguise himself as anyone, making it really easy to catch one off-guard; add to that the psychological horror upon realizing that the person he's disguised as is someone he ATE! On top of that, he has countless ways he can kill you, be it through simple crushing, slashing you up with claws, dicing you up with a sword arm, piercing you with spear-like tentacles, and more. Worst of all, when he kills you, it is highly likely that he will consume you as well, absorbing your very mind. Who knows what kind of fate that has on the deceased? Is their very conciousness permanently assimilated into this amalgamation of deceased minds, essentially robbing the person of their very soul, ever reliving their own death and unable to pass on in peace? It's... too horrible to imagine...

Alucard from Hellsing. Because he's an unstoppable, unkillable vampire with terrifying powers.

Also, Lucy from Elfen Lied. Because of all the horrible ways she kills people.

Both of which would kill you without so much as a second thought.

Mostly the shadow temple and the Kakariko Well when I was young. Never could get through them. Had to get a friend's older brother to do them for me.

Now I would say the most frighting character I fear is Frito from Idiocracy, because while he is still fictional, the world could become like him.
