If you've played Dawn of War, then you know the necron Flayed Ones? You know their big knives for hands?

Them, but not attached (mabye on some retractable sleave)
i would prefer a Gauss Flayer or a Staff of Light over those.

and with retractable, you mean you´d be wolverine #2?

Not sure if it counts as a weapon, but an Omnitool from Mass Effect. Come on, you have a miniature factory with a 100% virtual interface on your hand. manufacture tiny explosives, EMP charges or things to manipulate your enemies weapons within moments.

And the non-combat applications...BooYah.

Harkonnen, from the anime hellsing
a redicilously long 30mm cannon firing depleted uranium shells, wielded by the series female sidekick.
(i whould have posted a picture but i did not want to wade through pictures of cosplayers, motivator and nude pictures of the character, i consider myself too san for that)
oh that one! i havent read more than 2 books in series (they are pretty expensive here in denmark), but i remember that beast.

and i mean WTF? depleted freakin uranium? wouldn´t she get hit by radiation just by putting new shells into that thing.

Portal Gun for the win I say or perhaps the spy disguise kit on Team fortress 2 if it counts as a weapon which I hope it does.

A practical weapon that could be used everyday would be best unless your planning in going on a killing spree.

The Land-Shark Gun, Topsy-Turvy Bomb and Black Hole in a Box from Armed and Dangerous. Classic, classic weapons.

She got turned into a vampire. It is the reason why she can wield the weapon(extremely heavy and impossible to handle by a normal human being) and she isn't affected by radiation.

as per on-topic

The Ultima weapon decked out with Master Materias seems usefull.
The Gravity gun also seems practical in many situations.

What do you think the "depleted" part of depleted uranium means? THE RADIATION HAS BEEN DEPLETED!!! DU is barely more radioactive than granite. It is considered no more dangerous than lead. Thousands of people have been living with fragments of depleted uranium INSIDE their body for almost 2 decades from the first Gulf War... in this population there is no greater rate of cancers or any DU related deaths.

People just see the word "Uranium" and think "Duuur, Uranium is for nukes, nukes exploshun make radiation... therefore all uranium of any type is supar deadly radioactive"

You know what is actually use for radiation shielding? Blocks OF Depleted Uranium!!

Uranium naturally exists in the environment, you can dig the ore out of the ground it is as common as tin! Depleted uranium is LESS radioactive than that.

WoW's Piccolo of the Flaming Fire.

Not violent in any way, but great for skipping queues or stopping yourself getting attacked.

Play it, and everyone in a 30 yard circle just HAS to dance :D

'Dammit, I'm gonna beat your stupid face in- ooh, wont you take me to...a funky town?'

Id want my very own McGyver he most certainly is a weapon.
And if not McGyver, does Knights of the round summoning materia count?
If not either, a 2 handed lightsaber will do.

I'm not sure if it counts as a weapon but I'd totally go for Marble Phantasm. I could go up to sceptics like this guy [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/James_Randi] and earn huge amounts of money breaking the laws of physics for the amusement and edification of scientists worldwide.

I'd never need to work a day in my life.
