Bit off the wall but I liked the battle scene in Children of Men. Great camera work, urban streetfights and Clive Owen.

Or being more traditional - Brad Pitt's bare knuckle fights in Snatch or Fight Club.

My favourite unserious fight scene is in fact a tie between two. The first is the fight scene from Fight Club where the Narrator is in his bosses office. That is just hilarious. While the second is the final fight in Fight Club (in the car park of the building)... I can't say why because it might be a spoiler. Just...watch it... people who have will get why.

My favourite serious fight scene is this one:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ec2SC0ZW6V4. I know it isn't very action packed but the simple brutality is shocking and refreshing in a world of unrealistic fight. Also the voice over is so emotionally powerful that I can't help but love the scene.

But that's just me.

The fights in the Transporter series are top notch. The most creative use of a firehose goes to Transporter 2.
The fights on Avatar are amazing as well.
Naruto, when Naruto and Sasuke fought. And Lord Hokage VS Orochimaru and the First and Second Hokage.

I'm a fan of bloody and overly-dramatic fights, so all the fights in Sin City are awesome, as are the ones in Afro Samurai and One Piece. I can't think of one that is my all-time favourite, but The Punisher vs The Russian is pretty good:

I'll bend the definition a bit to vote for the car chase through San Francisco in Bullitt. Amazing choreography, driven at speed on real city streets, and an amazing finish.

Sin City is actually my favorite movie. The Strawhat crew VS Oz was awesome or Luffy VS Lucci. I love Afro Samurai too. Afro VS Kuma was probably the best fight. I didn't want to get too into anime on a non anime thread.

Although I've stopped caring for Star Wars, all of the fight scenes in those were great. The greatest space battle was Episode 3 and sword battle was Obi-wan & Qui-Gon vs. Maul.
