Not entirely sure. I would mention Kick-Ass but the only people who hate that are crotchety old men who believe video games will never be art (gee, I wonder who I'm talking about? Wink wink nudge nudge).

So, no idea. I'll get back to you.

I'm going to get so much stick for this, but...

Both Twilight films. And I'm actually looking forward to the release of Eclipse.

I've met tons of people that disliked Pulp Fiction, and Quenten Tarantino in general, but Pulp Fiction is my favorite movie of all time.

Alexander is the obvious choice.

Judging by reviews, Edge of Darkness and Legion weren't liked nearly as much as I liked them.

I have to agree here. But it's cool to hate Tarantino; it's because his films are unique and have a lot of dialogue to them, therefore they suck.

I'll also go with Once Upon a Time in Mexico. That movie is still one of my favourites. Also, critics bashed Leon when it was released. No one bashes Leon. It is pure cinematic perfection.

Tim Burton's Batman Returns.

I think it's a postmodern masterpiece.
And for being a comic book adaptation, it had a rather staggering amount of substantial subtext.
Third-wave feminism, anti-commercialism, Nietzschean explorations of Batman's character etc.

I liked ALL of the matrix movies, sure the very end was awful but as a whole those movies were really good and filled with great action scenes. (There are giant mechs fighting robot squids for like an hour, whats not to like)

A lot of people say that the first one was the only good one, but I don't think so.

The Resident Evil films, especially number 2.
Don't you judge me, they're awesome.

You're not alone, my friend. I watch it every Halloween, no questions about it.

But I'd have to say The Spirit. Everyone goes on and on about how much they don't like it. Well mostly my friends, but I really really liked that movie. Except for Frank Miller's directing, but you gotta take the bad with the good. And Samuel L. Jackson can do almost no wrong.

I liked Van Helsing.

It's full of hammy acting and has a pretty weak plot, but what other film has a monster killer Werewolf team up with Frankenstein's monster to fight Dracula?

House of Frankenstein.

Okay, it's not a perfect match. But I couldn't help myself.
