I agree with Hocus Pocus, only it was played to death on the tv, once you've seen the same movie 100+ times you tend to not like it out of boredom. That reminds me, I thought the girl from that had a lot of potential... goes off to wiki.

Ummmm as for my own... I liked 28 Days Later and 28 Months Later, as well as Shawn of the Dead, Boondock Saints, Pulp Fiction, Gremlins, Unleashed, Clerks 2, The Departed, and Euro Trip(which I have trouble getting people to watch >_>).

My friends hate all those movies and say that I only like them because they are considered cult movies.

Meanwhile, movies I disliked that others enjoyed are...
V for Vendetta, Underworld, Clash of the Titans and Superbad.

Waking Life.

Okay, so saying it had a plot is a bit of a stretch, but I loved the ideas in it, and the rotoscoping is pure eye candy. Anyone I've shown it to has just kinda shrugged and said "meh," but man that's some killer stuff if you ask me.

to above, I have yet to meet anyone who hates Boondock Saints :)

Ah, also I liked all 3 Resident Evil movies,
there's a 4th one comming out!!! But it's in 3d and I can't see 3d properly >_> (partially colourblind and it messes with the effect)

Many movies: Van Helsing, Beowulf, FFVII: ACC, AvP1, I am Legend, and so many more. But if you'd ask me the other way around, I'd have to say I really hate Fight Club and nearly every single Quentin Tarantino film.

I've met tons of people that disliked Pulp Fiction, and Quenten Tarantino in general, but Pulp Fiction is my favorite movie of all time.
People who don't like Pulp Fiction are idiots.

Spider Man 3. Sure they didn't do too much with Venom which is what I was looking forward to, but it was still a fun movie to watch.

I'm so glad that other people here liked Van Helsing.

The other ones of mine are: Doomsday, Shooter, Orphan, and Underworld 1+2.

Do films that are so terrible and so universily loathed that i can't help but find incredibly hilarious count?

If so, Street Fighter is the greatest comedy masterpiece of our time.

Also, Howard the Duck freakin rules.

Good Burger, I know it's a terrible movie, but I still love it. Also Indi 4 I've never encountered a single person who could give a valid reason as to why they hate it ("It just sucks" is not a valid argument).

Silent Hill.. Terrible reviews, and i completely ruined the original story.. but its still a damn good movie. But I see it more as a fan fiction than an official movie

Book of Eli. From this website I heard nothing but bashing on that movie. But when you mention anything about religion in a mostly atheist community, it becomes worse than acid.

I saw it last night and I thought it was bad ass. I even had the twist of the movie ruined for me, and I still thought it was tight. The thing I was mostly worried about was the action scenes, but even those were extremely well coreographed.

Hocus Pocus. i've only met 1 person who liked it as much as i do, everyone else seems to think it's a bit childish
Bull-motherfucking-shit. When I saw that, I had to leave the theater. Granted, I was much younger, but it freaked me out.

Transformers. Both of them. They're silly action movies with robots. So what if it has Shia Laboof and a whole lot of army? It's still good. And it contains Linkin Park, making it 300 times more awesome than most other movies.

Around here, I'm one of very few that liked Inglourious Basterds, the only other I person I can think of is Fellwarden.
I'm also the only one I know that really liked the Indiana Jones movies, yet I still haven't seen that newest one.
