Apparently, Spaceballs isn't a very funny film.

[sub]Fuck you all.[/sub]

I also loved the Doctor Who movie.

I've met tons of people that disliked Pulp Fiction, and Quenten Tarantino in general, but Pulp Fiction is my favorite movie of all time.
People actually hate Pulp Fiction, cinematically? I know many people who don't like all the antisocial content, but I have never met a person who thinks it is a badly made film.

I'd have to say Cloverfield for this. It's a love it or hate it movie, really, and it's my favourite film ever. Lots of people hated it, I know several who also count it as a favourite movie, not too many people fell into the middle.

I liked Van Helsing.

It's full of hammy acting and has a pretty weak plot, but what other film has a monster killer Werewolf team up with Frankenstein's monster to fight Dracula?
I liked Van Helsing too! It gets a lot of flak, perhaps because the terrible ending sticks in people's minds.

Mine would be I Heart Huckabees. I loved that movie when it came out, and recommended it to all my friends. They ALL hated it, and I've only ever found one person who liked it apart from me.

A lot of people I know hate A scanner darkly, but I love it.
I also love: Muppet Treasure Island.

I really enjoyed Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull but nobody else likes it, I don't understand why.

I loved "The Room". No one else in my life can just sit there and laugh at it and enjoy the horrid accents, the obvious blue screen, or the over suckyness of the whole "Denny drug scene".

Seriously, look up "The Room: drug scene" if you have the good fortune of never having seen that movie and tell me that it isn't hilarious!

Van Hellsing.

Panned by critics and not spoken of in public. And yet, I love it.

We're around, we just travel alone and don't stay in one stop too often... We're bad-ass like that.

It was pretty fun to watch. I think most peole couldn't take the lack of Nazis for Ford to beat the shit out of.

I liked ALL of the matrix movies, sure the very end was awful but as a whole those movies were really good and filled with great action scenes. (There are giant mechs fighting robot squids for like an hour, whats not to like)

A lot of people say that the first one was the only good one, but I don't think so.
Personally I think the first one is by far the best, but I like all of them. As you say, there are giant mechs fighting robot squids. And there are a lot of cool hand to hand combat scenes. I never quite understood why some people express such dislike about the second and third movies.

I have no taste in movies whatsoever, apparently. I love films most people think are utterly stupid, ridiculous, or absurd...which they are, but they're still fun. Guess I'm a fan of the "so bad it's good" subset of films. Such as:

Girlfriend From Hell
Return Of The Killer Tomatoes
Sinbad Of The Seven Seas
Ninja 3: The Domination
Shocker
Idle Hands
The Wraith
The Adventures Of Buckaroo Banzai: Across The 8th Dimension
Hercules In New York
Trick Or Treat
Monster In The Closet

...and a bunch more I can't name off the top of my head.

Cloverfield. I'm not sure why, but a lot of people seem to hate it for exactly the things that I find refreshing and intriguing about it.
