Final Fantasy Characters: Best And Worst

Alright, you asked an opinion and I have several. Hold onto your hats, folks!

THE BEST!>>>>>

Galuf, FF5 - "I have amnesia and I'm cool! My amnesia actually saved my life once, and I got over it! Also, I went mano-a-mano against the villain and it was AWESOME!"

X-Death Exodus, also FF5 - "Yes, but then you died. Oh, hello. I'm a force of evil that worked out an intricate and manipulative plan to...in short order...release myself from imprisonment, take revenge on the world(s), destroy lots of things, gain ultimate power, and erase the UNIVERSE!"

Sephiroth, FF7 - "And it failed. Go figure. What have I done, exactly? Ah yes. I'm possibly the most-skilled SOLDIER in existance, but after I went mad... I burned down a town, killed or maimed everyone in sight, was drawn into the Lifestream after my only equal bested me, took control of Jenova's power, killed alot more people including President Shinra, both located the Black Materia and manipulated the hero into getting it for me, and then tried to destroy the world in a bid for ultimate power. Ah, then there was a movie where I attempt to ruin the world again, and I still might not be dead. Where is this over-hype I keep hearing about? I feel perfectly justified."

Barret, FF7 - "Shut up, foo'! Ain't nobody wanna here from yo' pasty-white ass. Everybody likes the man with the gun on his arm, even that spikey-headed guy with the issues!"

Sazh, FF13 - "You compare HIM to ME? You kidding me or what? Can't argue with the artillery, though. Very fine hardware.

Worst: Quina. Damn he/she just won't SHUT THE HELL UP ABOUT EATING.

Best: I'm looking towards Kefka, because the dude is actually the malevolent, cruel, heartless bastard we love to take down.

Best: Auron. It's Lee Van Cleef with a huge-ass katana, sunglasses, facial scar and a bottle of booze. The game should have been about him.

Worst. Cloud. Angsty emo pussy.

My favourite character is either Vincent Valentine or Sephiroth. So hard to decide...

Worst character is probably Kuja or Seiffer.

Tidus is a tool. As is Yuffie and Seifer.

Really liked Kefka, Kuja and Laguna though.

Dunno. Dint play any recently.

Dislike: I didnt even play FF13 and i already strongly dislike Vanille, just by the way she runs around.

FAvorite? Locke from ff6? Kinda like the character.

edit; KEFKA!! A "good" big bad. Loved to hate the guy.

Best: Locke, Red XIII, Tifa, Seifer, Freya, Zidane, Kuja, Auron, Sazh, Fang
Kinda hard to pick favorites when I typically like most of the characters...

Worst: Vincent, Rinoa, Dagger, Vaan, Penelo

My favourites are probably Vivi, Sazh and Vanille. Vivi because his story was really heartbreaking at times. Sazh because he defied all my expectations. In the 1st hour or so he's "Token Black Guy #67" but as the game goes on he just keeps getting better. Vanille I liked because she had an interesting story.

My worst are Hope (he wouldn't shut up!!!!), Amarant (just seemed pointless and was introduced too late) and the entire cast of XII.

Best of the worst: Kefka, Kefka, Kefka, Ultros, Kefka and Kuja


Honourable mention goes to: Gilgamesh for this quote - "Enough expository banter! Now we fight like men! And ladies! And ladies that dress like men! For Gilgamesh... IT'S MORPHING TIME!"

Best of the Worst: The entire cast of FFXII, Wakka, Zell, Vanille

Worst of the worst: Yu Yevon (WTF spider thingy?), Genesis, Yuffie, Quina

Dishonourable mention goes to: Sephiroth, but only in the various spin offs, sequels and generalfanboy nerd knocks offs.

You're going to stab me with an improvised bladed weapon?

Just gotta say, because I've seen a lot of people say that Sephiroth didn't hardly do anything, that I believe he did something much more impressive than any Final Fantasy villian, which is kill a playable character. That used to not happen too often. Now it happens five times in one game, but back in the day that was a bold move. I took Sephiroth very seriously after that shit went down. Who cares how many random civilians a villian kills? They all do that. Sephiroth took it to the next level, folks.

But there is one thing that Sephiroth has never done and that was destroy the world. I believe that Kefka did succeed in that. But I do agree, Sephiroth is probably one of my favorite FF characters of all time.

My most hated characters of all time are, pretty much everyone except Seifer from VIII and everyone but Balthier and Fran from XII. Two decent games with REALLY annoying main characters.

I've been playing FFX the last couple days i have decided that while Tidus may whine a lot... How many of us wouldn't?

Honestly he is probably one of the most accurate representations of a person dropped into that situation. Sure lots of us would love to think we could handle it better but if i had...

My entire town destroyed along with possibly everyone i love and hold dear. Forced to fight monsters i am only slightly capable of beating because i'm an athlete and then...
Dropped all alone on a desolate island, starving, cold and wet only to be attacked by monster that could easily kill me twice to shortly be...
Left at the mercy of people whom will shoot me instantly if i don't work for them before getting swallowed by the same giant monster...
Finally, FINALLY find some friendly faces in Wakka and the Aurochs only to have him confirm that everything i know is possibly totally screwed up and last but not least...
Find out everything Auron tells you and learn your likely never EVER going the fuck home, but don;'t worry you get to risk your life constantly for a long long time.

I think he handles it fucking well in comparison to anyone of us. Seriouse. He deserves to ***** a bit. His life sucks.

Honestly the only thing i hates about him was that stupid half yellow shirt and his narrations, and only those because i felt them unnecessary.

Best- I liked the whole cast besides two characters
Worst- Zell, Rinoa

IX :
Best- Vivi and Freya
Worst- Everyone else

X :
Best- Auron
Worst- Tidus...though I find the rest of the cast pretty annoying also.

XII :
Best- Balthier and Fran
Worst- Vaan and Penelo

XIII :
Best- Lighting and Sazh
Worst- I haven't really played that far yet but so far everyone else is equally annoying, though they are somewhat starting to grow on me...
