My first console was a Sega Megadrive II and it came with a Mega 6 cartridge. Sonic the Hedgehog, Columns, Streets of Rage, Sega Soccer, Revenge of Shinobi and that F1 racing game I can't remember the title of.
Of those, Streets of Rage was easily my favourite, I've lost count of how many times I completed that. I did try to like Revenge of Shinobi and Sonic, but I just ended up getting frustrated because I wasn't good enough to get very far each time I played. The first and only game I bought for the Megadrive was Taz in Escape From Mars.
When I got my first PC, it came with Motocross Madness and Flight Simulator '98. I remember making my own ridiculous tracks in Motocross Madness with the editor, tracks that usually had massive jumps right before sharp turns in the track, so the AI wouldn't land until they'd overshot the track by a country mile. I think the first PC game I bought was Unreal Tournament, or it might have been X-Wing Alliance. Either way, both of these were lasting classics for me and I still mod them and play them to this day.
