First pc game was Rogue, followed by Full Throttle (Yes, I know how lucky I am).
First console would have been Tetris on the original original Gameboy.

First game on a console was the first Sonic the Hedgehog of course (I game I am yet to complete for some reason...) and the first game I played on the PC was Might and Magic VII: For Blood and Honour (a game which I recently cracked out again and played to death for a week)
It's because Scrap Yard Zone is cheap as hell.

Seriously, that's an instant death around every corner. You can't walk 10 steps in the first part without finding something ready to instantly kill you!

At least it isn't Metropolis Zone, Act 3 from Sonic 2. That shit was just brutally unfair with the Mantis boomerangs waiting for you after jumping to a new ledge. The Star Mines on all the screw elevators...

ARGH!
That is true. I do hate Scrap Yard Zone.... Although, last time I tried I crashed and burned on Marble Zone which is just embarrassing. As for Metropolis Act 3 - That level fills me with rage especially when you're Super Sonic because it is next to impossible to platform at those speeds and then you run out of rings and become pathetic Mortal Sonic which in turn makes it impossible to platform when you're such a pathetic mortal hedgehog....

It's not all bad... I usually get stonewalled at Labyrinth zone because FUCK AIR BUBBLES IN SONIC 1 FUUUUUUUUUUUUU!

Seriously, there aren't enough of them! Don't even get me started on Sonic 3...

Good thing I still remember the cheat code from back in the day... (and they kept it in the Genesis Collection for PS3, LOL) Up+Down+Left+Right hold A press START!

Speaking of cheat codes... Sonic 3's cheat codes were insanely difficult to pull off. You had to enter like 12 keystrokes in about 1 second (when Sonic blurs the screen as he is jumping into the title screen)
Up, Down, Left, Right, A, Start is like a nursery rhyme for the Sonic generation. I still sing it to myself all the time. It's quite catchy....

Jurassic Park 2 on the SNES at a friends house, or Dune2000. One of the two.
Both great games, still love them!

I've never had my own PC but i remember the first PC game i ever played was Commander Keen.

My first console was the N64 and it came bundled with Donkey Kong 64 so i'm to assume that would be that.

Console: Sonic the Hedgehog on my Sega Master System II
PC: genuinely can't remember. I can recall playing Space Quest IV: Roger Wilco and the Time Rippers and Indiana Jones and the Fate Of Atlantis. but that's about it.

Wheel of Fortune, 1988.

On my 8088 funnily enough (that was an 8086 with a math co-processor).

I remember a very old shoot-em-up that my uncle made and put onto the family pc, I used to play that a lot when I was 4. But the first console that I bought with my own money was my xbox 360, and my first game was assassins creed (and I still play it, nothing like slaughtering a hundred guards with just a hidden blade)

I don't remember the year, but I got an SNES for Christmas one year, I think my first game for that was... Super Mario 3? Might have been 2... Or maybe the one that had the first three games bundled on it...

As for the first console I got by myself with my own money, it was my Xbox 360 first game for that was Force Unleashed, But only because it came with the console... Haven't touched it since.
First game I got for that with my own money was Fable 2.
