I remember the first game I ever played AND the computer I played it on.
My first video game was Myst, installed on an old (and I mean OLD) LC 575 Macintosh. We only bought a modern computer (a silver iMac) in 2000, but I still have fond memories of the countless hours I spent exploring the Ages of Myst and racing to rescue the Princess in Prince of Persia.
Having been a few years behind on gaming technology, I have grown up with a deep appreciation of the great entertainment value in old games.

First PC game: King's Quest. Why my parents thought I could play that when I was 6, I don't know.

First console game: PS2, with Kingdom Hearts.

Can't remember what my first PC game was (don't play any anymore, either), but my first console game was Donkey Kong Country for the Super NES. Yes, it was indeed the Donkey what did me in. Going a step further, my first Playstation game Crash Bandicoot, Playstation 2 was Sly Cooper (didn't have an Xbox that generation), and the first game I ever played on my 360 was Dead Rising. All good games and all great ways to break in a console.

First game I owned was Pokemon: Red on the gameboy
First game I beat was Pokemon: Blue (don't ask me how it turned out that way 0.o)
First PC game I played was Warcraft 2

Commander Keen: Invasion of the Vorticons. Came on an Apogee demo disk (3.5"). Along with several other favorites: Cosmo's Cosmic Adventure(s?), Moraff's World, Crystal Caves (which I could never get to run, for some reason), and others.

Nintendo 64 and Crusin the World. I actually won the N64 at a live painting competition in a mall or something run by a local radio station aged four or five. Possibly the greatest thing ever, sold it (still functioning perfectly) for $150 a months ago.

I only (relatively) recently got my xbox, so the first game I ever played on it was Assassins Creed 2. However, the first game I remember playing on the PC was Command and Conquer: Tiberian Sun, and to this day it still remains one of my favorite games.
