How do I recognize when a girl is flirting with me? I'm painfully oblivious to such things and want to help my perception. Assume I know nothing

Part of it is verbal, part is nonverbal.

When I'm flirting with someone, I can feel my posture change and I touch them more. (Of course, I flirt for a living. Gotta make my tips somehow).

Sure that kind of thing, touching your hair etc. Oh! Taking your shit and refusing to give it back. Apparently that was flirting... who knew?

What I hate about flirting is wondering what the meaning is behind it. Sometimes, there is a legit attraction. Sometimes, she's just a flirt. I find it pretty damn hard to differentiate the two.

It could also just be simple things, like touching your arm with her hand while she's doing the laughing part. Stuff like that is always something that makes it easy to tell.

I wouldn't know, people don't get interested in me. I've been flirted with over the internet, that's easy to notice with wink emotes, but that's usually just people joking around. When somebody is properly flirting with me over the internet it's hard to tell what exactly they're hinting towards because they aren't good at descriptive writing.

But, I have been told I'm not good at flirting, but I think a girl over the internet told me that in a joking way...
