Maryland blue crabs, when you eat them straight from the shell its incredibly messy and time consuming to get to the actual meat but i cant stop eating them.
This.

I'm moderately adept, but it still takes some 4 minutes for what, 2, 3 ounces of meat? Though I understand Bawlmor natives have their time down to 2 minutes. I pity the novice.

I believe soft shell crab, as a dish, was created out of laziness.
Iv been doing it sense I was young so its helps but whenever we have a new person in town you always have to teach them, how to open the shell, how to eat the claw, don't eat the lungs or intestines, yes that white stuff is meat no not that white stuff.

Seafood, mainly crab legs, though I can peel and eat shrimp without even thinking about it.

Over here in Korea there's this soup called Kam Ja Tang. Most people say it translates into "potato stew". But the awesome part is that they put pig neck bones in it. Imagine picking meat off of a pig's vertebrae with chop sticks in a pot of boiling hot soup.

The soup tastes totally awesome, but it's just such a pain to eat.

Yeah. Me neither. I think this weekend I might make some. My favourite construction is thus (on a white bap):

Bap top
Level 1: A little bit of stilton & cheddar cheese
Level 2: Onion ring with fried garlic & mushrooms in the middle
Level 3: Burger patty
Bap bottom
My favourite is this with a standard white bun:

Top
Tomato
Lettuce
Pineapple slice
BBQ sauce
Cheese
Egg
Onion
Bacon
BBQ sauce
Fat Italian sausage cut in half vertically and then cut in half vertically so that there are four quaters of sausage.
BBQ sauce
Thick patty with secret ingredients.
Bottom

Heaven in a bun.

I think the main reason that it's so hard to eat is all the BBQ sauce I put in it. I've fought aboyt taking out some of the sauce and only using a standard sausage but it would truly be a crime against nature.

EDIT: Forgot the pineapple.

'The burger constructor challenge' could almost be a thread itself! I like all kinds of arrangements. The simple one for BBQs (when you don't have the time to go crazy) is:

Top
Cheese slice
Tabasco (I always take a bottle to BBQs)
Patty
Base

The trick being to put the patty/tabasco/cheese combo back on the grill for 30 seconds to let it all melt together.

And butter on the bun too.

Pistachios. After breaking a few open my fingers start to hurt, and it's even worse when the shell's completely closed, making you resort to biting on it. If they weren't so delicious I wouldn't bother.

Sounds good, I'd have to try that out.

Okay, this thread has made me starving, I'm walking away... to the fridge.

Toblerones!! the fuckers can make your mouth bleed if you don't eat them properly, then give you a heart when you do finally eat one.

Word. Most painful chocolate bar ever. Especially those huge ones. I swear they're designed my sadists.

Doner Kebab, all the sauce and shit gets everywhere.
This is why you have the Kebab roll. They roll it up like a burrito. But yeah, Döner Kebab is damn messy.

Souffles! Delicious, but by the time your finished whisking the cream to the proper consistency your arm is too weak to lift the spoon to your mouth!!!

Spicy food. I love it, but the damn stuff gives me the runs. It's downright inconvenient...
