What isn't good is the fucking price. It should only be £100 because that's the equivalent in American money!
So now that they've noticed the UK will lap up any price rises, like with MW2, we're going to basically get ripped off as much as possible by Activision?

What's up with the idiots living in this country?

Unfortunately, there will be people who try to spy on their sisters.

The prestige edition is like an overpriced happy meal. You get a meal to fill your tummy for an hour, and a toy to keep you entertained for 5 minutes.

Nothing will seem to top the NVG's...

Maybe a nerf 203 grenade launcher?

But silly yeah, unless your peeping in on nakkid girls or guys... whatever floats your boat.

Sad thing is, I've seen many people saying how cool this is, and that they are totally getting it. Is it me or is this world's average IQ dropping by the day?
It has for years... Haven't you noticed when you were in school/when you are in school that the kids just under your grade seem even shorter and stupider than when your class was that age? And that if you for example observe 8th graders for 3 years, the average kid will become even shorter and stupider than the year before?

It's strange. Could it have something to do with a returning ice age or the reversing of the poles? This is interesting research...

What is with Activision's inability to price things correctly?

This costs $150 in America, and £130 over here. $150 =/= £130. It's more like £100. They did it with the already overpriced map packs for MW2 as well.

Anyway this is pretty good value for money for what you're getting but I don't want to spend £130 on one game unless I have money to burn, which I don't.

I'll buy a prestige edition when they start giving away something cool like ghillie suits or actual guns. I only care about the game.

Unless the car can actually detonate I'm not interested.
I was thinking the same thing! If it doesn't, then it is simply not worth it.

I think people are missing a part:

Black Ops RC-XD Remote Control Car with onboard video camera and microphone that sends an audio and colour video feed back to the controller
Thats pretty awesome if you ask me.

I'll be honest, this one seems better than the previous "Prestige Edition" they released.

Collector's Editions have been ridiculously overpriced and packed with useless shit for years now. Why should Black Ops be any different?

Actually dear friend that's the right conversion it's been a long time since we've been $2 to £1 and thats the right amount we're paying
OT: totally not getting this it'll break after you use it once either that or you'll get slapped with a court order

It's not really that expensive considering it's an RC car and they aren't cheap. Add in a microphone and camera to that and it seems a pretty damn good deal to me.

Still not gonna buy it though. Don't have the money to blow on it. I'll just get the cheaper, RC carless version. Still be as fun, just won't have the perfect thing to spy on people with.

No one expects the RC Car Inquisition![footnote]...Yeah, that didn't work.[/footnote]

A lot of companies price their games differently in different parts of the world. I think it might be something to do with the average wage of the people or some sort of economical data they have where they figured they could get X amount more/less out of people. I know I've bought a lot of international versions of games for far far cheaper than they were in the states. For example when the last splinter cell came out in the states it was $49.99 I got it online from a place in (i think) India for $29.99.

i don't see anything wrong with it. i personally won't spend that much, but for those die hard fans who love to go all out for their select game it's a great idea. it's not unlike the people who love star wars and buy action figures, or people who love a musical artist and buy posters and t-shirts. it's all about support. some people just have the finance to go all out. we shouldn't be harsh on them for it.
