I hate stealoth missions with a passion, so anytime a game doesn't penelize you with "game over" for being seen I'm killing whatever is between me and the objective.
I've recently started useing the Ambassador for the Skullplugery achivement, although, honestly, And I find it's not actually as good for finishing of opponenets as most people say, sure, it can be a quick way to finish off Snipers, but really, you only ever get 1 good shot, then your cover's blown, and it's generally ill advised to keep fighting, considering how badly the Spy seems to be able to handle recoil.Aerodynamic said:I do this often, don't understand why everyone else runs. The regular revolver is an underrated weapon, not much of a fan of the ambassador though.Sir Kemper said:Spy in TF2.
Those rare moments when you need to get your gloves dirty, and unload a few hundred magnum bullets into a few hapless Mercs.
Good fun, untill a stray Crocket ends your spree.
A memorable experience in CrysisFenra said:Ditto to alot of other people when it comes to MGS, why sneak when i can kill everyone then not worry about sneaking!
oh and crysis, my suit has stealth? why when i can throw guys through buildings!
That reminded me of Resistance: Fall of Man. I got the reapers, and I was in a room full of those zombie like guys. I wanted to save ammo, even though I had the shot gun, so I kung fu chopped every in the room to death.Altorin said:It's not strictly stealth, but ME2, a lot of times as a vanguard, I was just like "Fuck the shotgun", and just started hammering people with my fists.
Sod guns. I went Jack the Ripper with a kitchen knife or MC. Hammer with, well, a hammer. Why use bullets when there is a blade with which you can't miss. Ah Bloodmoney. Guns blazing (i've heard it referred to as "leeroy-jenkins-ing it") is a lot of fun though.
Especially when playing Blood Money on the PC and watching the physics get all screwy when you slow down time with the dev menu.
Dual action extended clip rapid fire magnum loaded long slide equipped Silverballers with laser sight? Winsauce.
I don't know what the melee attack is, so being rushed by Plant People becomes rather... HumorousAltorin said:It's not strictly stealth, but ME2, a lot of times as a vanguard, I was just like "Fuck the shotgun", and just started hammering people with my fists.
The various titles you can get are rather entertaning in Blood Money. Evil Eyeball Gouger. I laughed when I saw that one.Thomas-101 said:Sod guns. I went Jack the Ripper with a kitchen knife or MC. I remember also F*****g stealth in one of the Thief games I think I had. (Thief metal age I think) However you would lost the mission as soon as you killed a person so that never worked so well.
Battlefield's the one series of games where I just want a "RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!" yell for everytime you crash a Blackhawk into enemy territory and fire blindly into every direction and still getting some kills with stray grenades and RPGs that fly wild. The Shade said:Every single encounter in Battlefield: Bad Company 2.
Except that I charge headfirst into the battle with a sniper rifle and a grenade launcher.
Shit gets intense from there.
