There is a mission in Thief 2 where you had to escape from an ambush. The mission pissed me off so much that I dropped the difficulty to easy and proceeded to depopulate the entire town. Funny how effective violence is against horrible AI...

In fallout 3, I had 3 stealth boys, and the infiltrator with me. I wanted to try to sneak past the aliens in Mothership Zeta. Every time something gave me away. So after about 5 deaths I said fuck this shit, dawned my Hellfire Armor, Pulled out the gattling laser and made sure the M.I.R.V was in my shortcut que and blew shit to pieces of pieces! :D

[Prototype]. It's possible to creep around stealthily completing missions, but it's a lot easier to walk in, blow up some tanks, and get every soldier in the area rushing to attack you until there are no reinforcements left.

If it's at all considered to be possible, I play sort of a "guns blazing" type of Sniper in TF2. I usually go Huntsman, Jarate and Tribesman's Shiv and commence some nice little flanking maneuvers before rushing in and basically just kinda going "headshot, headshot, headshot" before I'm utterly pwnt by some Demoman or Soldier or Natascha Heavy.

OT: Any time I play Assassin's Creed, this is what I end up doing. I mean, seriously, the poor guards can never kill you if you don't let them, and you can insta-kill them with any of your parries.
You know, funnily enough, that's exactly what I thought when I saw a comment from you.

There can only be one.

The Riverboat level in Hitman: Blood Money on Professional. I could effortlessly Silent Assassin every single other level, but for some reason on the riverboat there was a bit where no matter what disguise I had or what I was doing the suspicion meter would max out and I'd be immediately discovered.

So I loaded up the custom M4 and shot everyone on the boat.

EVERYONE.

Most recently? Alpha protocol. Guards alerted, alarm isn't sounding. I get to either load last checkpoint or fuckitol.

Fuckitol. Horrible melee slaughter in 3...2...1...
There are definatly points in the game where you just sorta snap and wanna kill every body with your bare hands. And this is coming from a guy who usually tranqs civilian guards.

We'll settle this like men. Hydrogen bombs at 10 meters.
Ha, you probably thought there was going to be an image in here. I fooled you!
...or I could just change my avatar. You can have it; I'm just generous like that.

I sometimes have these moments in Mass Effect 2. I'm an Adept, so I usually use biotics to kill b*tches. BUT! When the last helpless fucker is still alive (preferably a mech without arms) I'll Leroy Jenkins his fat arse. Throw was never more satisfying.

Commandos: Behind Enemy Lines. Anyone play this game? Stealth and tactics were the bread and butter of it. And invariably, I messed up somewhere. As a result, I always snapped and tried to take as many Nazi bastards as I could with me to hell. I spent many a session ragequitting at that game. And don't get me started on the sequel, Beyond The Call Of Duty. That stuff was Nintendo Hard up to eleven, and I never got past the first stage.

Anyone play Hitman Blood money?
Well if you all remember the mission where you have to kill someone in the white house (I dunno, it's a been a long time since I've played the game so please understand) anyway I got so annoyed with this level that I got my pistols, put laser sights on them, went into to first person mode and shot everything that could die.
I even sniped the little poodle.

Tenchu: Wrath of Heaven on the PS2

why do I learn all those new moves by being stealthy if none of them are stealth based?!?!?

Aww, thanks. I'd grown rather fond of my Slowpoke avatar (Which totally wasn't stolen XD).

Tenchu Z, for me which was priceless. I loaded myself with loads of explosive arrows, jacked up my health and power instead of speed and just raped everything in the area. Everything was a burning corpse.

I used to do it all the time in Mass Effect (the original, superior Mass Effect). Get my Lift biotic up to full, levitate a group of enemies, and casually walk beneath them, shotgunning as I go.
