"Fuck this" moments

At the moment, BC2. Nothing particularly wrong with the game (besides when you get guys spawn camping in conquest to steal your tanks...), just frustrating trying to adapt to the omnipresent lag (server browser shows a server with a ping of 15, I join and my ping is 165, very annoying) and different play style.

wacky races on the ps1. was in the lead all the way and was just about to win (about a second without interruption and victroy would be mine) when fuck dick dastardly drops a wall in front of me and wins. Lame i know but the first time i can remember punching my tv (i was 8 at the time).

CoD4, the fucking TV Station lobby on hardest setting, "Fuck this" is the mildest thing that comes to mind about that bloody level.

I found a way to get through that room with no fuss at all...

As soon as you get there hurl a flashbang to center of the room, then run your ass off towards the door where you can stop them spawning. Throw another flashbang to the left as you go.

Then just pick off the three or four guys who spawned from the safety of the corridor.

Easy peasy!

Way back in the nes days. The Willow game based on the movie. There was a part where you needed a twig or some such that you had to collect almost an hour into the game in order to break down a wall. There was no going back to get the twig and if you didn't have it you were screwed, and had to restart the game.

C&C3, GDI Albania mission. Endless spawning enemies, you have a limited number of units barely enough to fight off one wave of enemies and no production facilities. After failing it for the fourth time, I just gave up and uninstalled the game. I finished it once already when it first came out, but I just don't feel like doing it again.

...and bringing down the Star Destroyer in Force Unleashed.

I heard people mention that before, but I never quite got why. You lightning down the Tie Fighters in a matter of seconds and then pull the Star Destroyed down a bit. Repeat until done. I was dreading that section when first playing Force Unleashed due to all I've heard about it, and then... nothing... done on the first try...

The most recent example in my mind would be during Final Fantasy 13, while playing as Lightning and Hope, up against the Aster Protoflorian, or as I like the call it "the mother fucker that looks like a giant bulbasaur".

It stomped me the first battle, tried a again, did better, died, tried again, did a little better, died, "Fuck this!", ragequit.

Tried a couple hours later, did a little better than before, died, tried again, did a little better, died, 'Fuck this!", ragequit.

If you think that's bad try COD4 on Veteran. MW2 is a breeze in comparison.
