Might want to look into the English Version of Azumanga Daioh. Massively entertaining.

Ninja'd, I found it very entertaining. Cooking is so fun, cooking is so fun, now its time to take a break and see what we have done! Makes me laugh every time.

I also enjoyed Lucky Star, as you can probably tell from my avatar, and it has anime/game references seemingly everywhere. I noticed in one episode that Konata, Kagami and Tsukasa went to see Saw 3 at the cinema. That was one thing I wasn't expecting.

As immature as it sounds, Bobobo-Bo Bo-Bobo--it's funny in that ridiculous sort of way, it's so crazy because one minute you see a sun and a man made of jelly working together and the next a man with a blonde afro using them as shields the next. Outrageous, funny, and most importantly crazy. If you DO like it try thisisnotedible's channel he has all the eps.

I'm currently watching Ichiban Ushiro no Daimaou. It's pretty funny. It also manages to keep an perfect balance between comedy, serious plot, action and ecchiness that I've rarely seen anime do.

I notice a lot of people have suggested you watch Excel Saga. This is a decent suggestion, but a much better idea would be READING Excel Saga, as the manga, although it takes a few books to get going, eventually delivers a much darker and more intelligent style of comedy that's still funny even if you don't get the references (a lot of which are actually to the history and geography of Fukuoka, rather than to other anime and manga) as well as excellent and engaging characters and an actual plot which is pretty decent.
