I don't like when parents are too laid back with their parenting and letting their kids run wild. It's one thing if they are just curios and running around with excitement, but a good parent never leaves their kids to run around on their own and are always a few feet away from him.

I was hoping that the guy (who remains anonymous) was joking towards the end as a cruel joke to get the mother's and her kid's act together. Still, to have a kid that just randomly bites people is just bad parenting and she's lucky that her child was not taken away.

Eh, I can't really say I found it funny, my immediate reaction was "This guy is kind of an asshole."

But then again, that's probably because I don't hate children.

[sub][sub][sub][sub]I'm also very much willing to bet this story is completely made up[/sub][/sub][/sub][/sub]

So I was on this forum or whatever when someone from that place sent me a certain link.

When I read this, I sorta gawked for a second and then laughed. Hard. But then I felt a little sheepish when I showed this to another site, someone commented that we were all horrible people to laugh. And there was the guilt.

So... how about you all take a gander at that and give me your thoughts.

Also Bonus: Do you have any outrageous stories about what you did to cope with children that appear to be uncontrolled?

This would have been a poll but it pretty much crapped out on me... Apolgies.

holy shit......
that is the funniest fucking thing ive read in god knows when!!!

whos the guy who wrote this? i owe him a beer and a hooker!

I didn't really find it funny or offensive.
Maybe I didn't get it or something.
Oh, and I've never seen kids going around biting people before.

That is both hilarious, and utterly justified. If you let your kid run around in a supermarket, and they have not learnt the restraint to not run around and then BITE RANDOM PEOPLE, both deserved what they got.

Right.

So, what precisely is my incentive to click on that link? Shadenfreude?

I'll pass and take the cynical view that the "horrible people" comment wasn't too far off.

You've never heard of Bash.org? A site filled with so many quotes, it's awesome.

ROFL! Hahahahaha owned! I feel no guilt, that is brilliant. I hate the sort of parent that doesn't teach their child proper manners / social acceptability and then tries to defend them when they do something completely out of order!

Assuming (as was implied) that it was a joke and he wasn't really HIV positive, then the parent/child deserve the scare they got.

Wow. When you're kid is going around biting random people so hard they draw blood, you know you need to start paying better attention to what he/she does.

In all honestly, this was pretty funny. It was sort of mean yes, but still pretty funny.

Indeed, ive never seen this... still funny though, shes not a very good parent if she lets her kid run around biting people, this could happen better she learn from the joke then suffer the reality... also did I mention its reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeally funny.

Feel guilty for what? There's only one person who got physically harmed and he's the one who ended up winning. The kid isn't going to have anything so any harm caused is temporary.
This. There's nothing to feel bad about there, maybe this scare will teach either the kid to not go around biting random strangers or the mom to actually control her kid.

Either way, everyone wins.

I don't for a second think that the HIV story is true. The point is, though, wouldn't it be fantastically satisfying if it DID actually happen? Too many childen these days are spoiled, over-entitled little sh*ts who know full well they live consequence-free lives.

A kid tried it with me (I live in Australia) but screaming out I'm HIV positive wouldn't have been too helpful considering I go to Woolies regularly.
I just spun the kid round and let him fall. Serves him right for trying to bite me.

and yea, the story is hilarious.
