Alexander put his book down and rubbed his eyes. Everything was going well until he came to a certain....passage(?...i don't know what they are called unless their considered bullet points) that seemed to contradict a few rules that he had read a little while ago. He had been flipping the book between those two pages, trying to see if there was a way for both to coexist but it wasn't helping and so he put it down and got up.
"God this sucks." he said, annoyed. He didn't wish to deal with any of his brethern, he couldn't find any vampires to kill, and he couldn't even find any humans to glare at or whatever he wanted to do. He was about to give up and go home when he heard a voice directly behind him.
Quickly he spun around and looked at who it was, thankful when he realized that it wasn't a vampire, just some woman.
"Are you alright?" She asked, looking at him. "You seem to be concerned about something."
"Wha...er, no, i'm fine." He said, wondering if he actually did look worried about something. He guessed that he could look like that when he was infact annoyed but still. "I'm just trying to figure out something...anyways, why do you ask? Usually people don't come up and ask complete strangers if they are alright...or is this something that all of the kids are doing nowadays."
She laughed at that. "No, It's just that i'm just more concerned about my fellow man than the usual person. I know it can be dangerous to do it but still."
"Yeah...anyways, i'm kind of involved in something right now and i don't think you can help. Thank you anyways though."
"Alright...well, i should be getting home now so...yeah. Hope i see you again." She said as she took off.
"Yeah, you too." He said to her before saying, "Hope for your sake that you don't.", When she was out of earshot range.
