"Yeah" Curtis chuckled, "I'm still young enough that my biological parents are still alive." Taking a moment to turn and admire Catherine's rather stunning figure he said, "You must have had all the men in the Imperial Court after you. To see Napoleon at his height must've been something."

"I did for some time." she grinned. "But after a while it gets old. As for Napoleon? I was too young to have any interest in that sort of thing at the time." Her fingers traced her lips. "But I'm curious. What would a youngling like you know about the Imperial Court?"

As her fingers traced across her lips, Curtis gave himself a mental slap. Damn it man. If she keeps this up I'm gonna black out. "I'll admit all I know is what I've read in history texts," he said. "Despite what you may think, not all lycans are brain dead monsters." Stretching, he scratched his hairy chest. "So, where do you want to go for a drink? Anywhere I can think of would probably be to 'divey' for your tastes."

"Anything outside of the au naturel is considered 'divey', as you put it. Having a drink of red wine is just the same as drinking a cheap can of beer. I'm not picky..." she grinned. "Besides... I haven't been to this area often. Maybe you could show me around?~" Her dainty hands settled on his arm, her leg just barely brushing against him.

No, not all brain dead monsters. But definitely close enough. I want to say the same of too many vampires too though...

Curtis smiled. "I think I know a place then," he said as he tried not to let her get him to 'excited'. "It's just a block or two north." As they walked, he rolled a few question around in his head. What if she attacks me? Fuck it you've fought armed vampires before. Yeah but, I'm actually kind of enjoying myself. So? If she attacks deal with it, if she doesn't, go drinking. Just ask her. Fine.

"So Miss de Leon, I've got a few questions I've wanted to ask you. One, did you send that young one after me the other night? Two, how can you eat humans? Not from an 'ethical' point of view or anything, but the taste, it's just so bland. And three, can I see one of your blades? I'm a bit of a knife collector."

The normal/bold italics is Curtis arguing with himself

She laughed lightly, still keeping her eye out for any werewolves. Or any other vampires for that matter... "One, I am no Queen. I do not just send out vampires to hunt werewolves. Even if I did for you, do you think I would remember? it appears you have come out of it alive and well, so what is the problem?" She didn't spend to much time thinking about it. "Two, what do you eat? Besides vampires, your species second largest diet seems to consist of humans as well. And it doesn't taste bland at all to me. Although I do find werewolf blood to taste a bit... bitter. Not at all tasty." She laughed again. "And third, I don't believe we've known each other long enough for me to hand over my weapons..." she purred, tracing a finger down his arm.

Sitting down on a bench, alexander looked around. There was noone in the park to even see, much less a vampire to attack. The only thing he could do was to sit down and wait, hoping that someone would come around soon...

Quietly, he took out a pocket sized edition of The art of war (something he couldn't really get around to reading and fully comprihending) and began.

was going to post something else but i'll save that for when i get back on. Right, now, need to go somewhere.

"Well if you didn't send her, you certainly knew her. She had your scent all over," James said. She's probably lying, but I don't care that much. "I mostly eat beef, unlike you we don't have to exclusively feed off humans, and vampire...I find unpleasant."

Rounding the next corner they heard the machine gun thump of a double kick drum, pumping from behind a closed door. Standing in front of the door was a man nearly as big as Curtis. "Yo! Frankie! How's life?" The bouncer called, "Geez man don't you own a pair a shoes?" Curtis laughed as he clapped the bouncer on the shoulder. "Hey Billy! Things have been good, and I got thick soles, I don't need shoes." Billy just shook his head as he opened the door. "You're a weird one Frankie."

"Frankie?" Catherine flipped her hair. The music certainly wasn't her style, but she figured she could adapt if it meant more prey. This place actually looked like a decent place to hunt. Figuring it would be hard to talk in the din she stayed quiet, observing the people. She followed Curtis to the bar. "Dicey indeed... I'll let you order a drink for me. As long as there's no silver dust in it I'll drink it." I should be more careful in my choice of company...

"Yeah, it's nickname I got stuck with before my transformation, and I kinda like it. Be back with drinks in a second, try not to eat anyone while I'm gone." Laughing Curtis made his way to the bar, crushing an empty bottle under his feet along the way. What the hell are you doing? I'm getting drinks. She's probably gonna try an' kill you at some point you know. Yup. Fuck it.

"What do ya want?' Yelled the bartender. "Two double rye and ginger, and a beer" Curtis yelled back, dropping a $50 on the bar. "Keep the change." Pounding the beer, he made his way back to Catherine, motioning to a nearby booth. "Your drink my dear," he said. "So why didn't you attack me? I've never met a vampire who didn't try to kill a lycan on sight."

Alexander put his book down and rubbed his eyes. Everything was going well until he came to a certain....passage(?...i don't know what they are called unless their considered bullet points) that seemed to contradict a few rules that he had read a little while ago. He had been flipping the book between those two pages, trying to see if there was a way for both to coexist but it wasn't helping and so he put it down and got up.

"God this sucks." he said, annoyed. He didn't wish to deal with any of his brethern, he couldn't find any vampires to kill, and he couldn't even find any humans to glare at or whatever he wanted to do. He was about to give up and go home when he heard a voice directly behind him.

Quickly he spun around and looked at who it was, thankful when he realized that it wasn't a vampire, just some woman.

"Are you alright?" She asked, looking at him. "You seem to be concerned about something."

"Wha...er, no, i'm fine." He said, wondering if he actually did look worried about something. He guessed that he could look like that when he was infact annoyed but still. "I'm just trying to figure out something...anyways, why do you ask? Usually people don't come up and ask complete strangers if they are alright...or is this something that all of the kids are doing nowadays."

She laughed at that. "No, It's just that i'm just more concerned about my fellow man than the usual person. I know it can be dangerous to do it but still."

"Yeah...anyways, i'm kind of involved in something right now and i don't think you can help. Thank you anyways though."

"Alright...well, i should be getting home now so...yeah. Hope i see you again." She said as she took off.

"Yeah, you too." He said to her before saying, "Hope for your sake that you don't.", When she was out of earshot range.

"I see no good reason to attack a non hostile lycan. They're few and far between." she slid into the booth, crossing her legs and taking the drink. "Although I could ask you the same thing. You were stalking me for quite a long time, and I'm sure I didn't look at all threatening from that far." She sipped her drink coquettishly, tracing her finger around the rim.

"Ah it's nice to see there is some sanity on your side of the line." He said as he sipped his drink. "I didn't attack because I was a little bored of the same old bullshit, that and I worked a lot of aggression out the other night. If you saw the front door of the Ice Queen's fortress you know what I mean." Sitting back, he laughed at the mental image of the one vamp's head exploding like a ripe tomato when it hit the door.

Sitting forward again, he looked Catherine straight in the eyes. "I could have pegged you for a vampire even if I?d been upwind, and hadn't seen the blades. Some human street punk might 'a just seen a slender attractive woman, but I can see what you really are...a predator plain and simple. You move with a grace born of total self confidence, knowing that you could kill anyone who crosses your path. I may be just a child in your eyes, but I know how to recognize a dangerous opponent when I see one."

Curtis put on a large toothy grin. "As I'm sure you are well aware of, you don't live too long in our world if you misjudge your enemies, and I plan on living for a good long time."

Soo, does anyone know what happened to our GM's? Or Wenseph & ToxicPiranah for that matter?

"You do realize that vampires don't do well as warning signs. I'm sure only 3 or 4 of us even noticed it. After we killed a few wolves... You should have left it earlier on in the evening, not right before sunrise." She leaned back, pulling her legs up onto the bench. Her violet half-open eyes matched his gaze.

"And I could have pegged you a werewolf if I just saw a picture. Do you choose not to practice subtlety?" Catherine scooted closer. "I mean, even a normal human would find a tall, muscular, handsome man such as yourself a bit... supernatural." She finished her drink, a small smirk on her lips.

"Well in my defense, those two had died only a few minutes earlier, it was a bit of a spur of the moment idea." He said with another laugh. "I did consider 'marking' the door, but thought better of it." Nodding to Catherine, he went on. "Hmm, I would've said I was average looking at best, but then who am I to argue? I've never bothered to really hide what I am, because I've never really been a 'people' person as it where. That, and when you're naturally as big as I am being inconspicuous is kinda hard."

"That supernatural feeling keep the people away, and tells vampires and rival lycan that I'm best not fucked with. I know some of 'us' on both sides of the fight get little quirks or changes when they get turned. Me on the other hand" Curtis said, gesturing to himself. "This is what I looked like even before I was bitten, so I figure why hide it?" He'd noticed she?d slide closer to him while she talked. What?s her game?

"No quirks? None at all?" she grinned, holding his gaze. "Most of the lycans I've seen have some very... beneficial changes..." She held a finger to her lips thoughtfully. "Strength... Speed... Endurance~" The words rolled off her tongue like honey, clearly audible even through the loud music and noise.

"Ahh, those my dear I've never had any problem with," he replied. "But the change certainly didn't hurt them." Finishing his drink, he lent back, and signaled a nearby waitress for another round. "So then, anything else you want to do this fine evening?"

"It's been awhile since I've been this close to a werewolf..." she grinned, getting closer. "I'd like to get closer..." Catherine pulled her dark hair over her shoulder, batting her dark eyelashes. "It's not often I meet a nice werewolf... especially a nice one that buys me drinks..."

"Well since I asked you, I figure it's only fair that I buy." Sliding a bit closer himself, a sly grin crept across Curtis' face. "Just how close where you wanting to get? I bet with our respective talents we could have quite the time."
