"Oh it's very fun... believe me..." Satisfied that she had his attention, she leaned back a little, playing with the straps of her dress. "Although I've heard that the lycan girls are a handful themselves..." Terribly temperamental, terribly bossy, terribly quick. The guys are much better~ "I'd like to get close, but do lycans bite?~"

"Oh, I can if you want me to," he said with a slight laugh. "You worried this big bad wolf'll hurt you?" Fuck, I can't believe I said that. "What would your compatriots think? You coming home all disheveled and smelling of the enemy." Curtis had to admit, Catherine was doing a very good job of getting him all worked up.

Stroking an imaginary hair off her temple with one hand, he placed his other on the table. "Why don?t we go find somewhere a little quieter..." She IS going to kill you. Fuck off and let me enjoy this, I'll be serious tomorrow.

I swear he's not bi-polar, that's just his rational mind trying (and failing) to make him see reason.

She smirked and leaned forward again. "I'm sure the Queen is already worked up about me having a drink with the enemy. I'm sure she won't mind a bit more fraternizing..." Melianara is going to slit my throat. Nah, she would have already. She scooted closer, her knees brushing against his. "The smell and the state I'll be in? I could always say I ran into a big bad wolf who just... overpowered me... and just forced me down, and oh!" she feigned shock, covering her mouth. Then she leaned forward just a little more, close enough so she was in his ear, her breath warm on his neck. "As for hurting me..." she brushed herself against him lightly. "I'd like to see you try~"

The warm breath on is neck nearly did him in. Giving himself a mental cold shower, Curtis set his mind to what was to come. "So" he said, letting a finger trace lightly down her neck. "Shall we continue this in-depth discussion elsewhere? I know a quiet place to go." Sliding out of the booth he bowed slightly, holding his hand out.

Easy. Catherine slipped her silver blades out from under the table, returning them to her back. Maybe she'd kill him after she had her fun. Or maybe not. She slid out of the booth, taking her time. She made sure to tease him with every movement and look, but stayed just out of his reach. "Hopefully it's not a dicey place?" she laughed, taking his hand.

"Have no fear I'm sure you'll love it," Curtis replied. Gripping Catherine's hand, he led her though the crowds, and back onto the street. As the pair moved though the thinning crowds a new but familiar scent got his attention, the smell of a vampire on the hunt. Leaning in close, he whispered in her ear. "Did you know that vampires give off a distinctive smell when they're hunting? Inside with all the humans it was masked, but out here...plain as day."

Increasing the pressure he felt one of the knuckles of her hand dislocate with a slight 'pop'. "I have to give you credit, you did have me all kinds of stirred up. If I was a more impulsive man, I'm sure I'd have been dead by now." Stepping around a corner, he turned her towards him, without letting go. "Now I'll give you a fair choice here." He said his eyes now a deep amber colour. "When I let you go, if you run, I will not pursue you and you can return home safely. But if you attack, I will cripple you and leave for the morning sun, your choice." Releasing her hand, he stepped back out of easy striking distance.

She grinned, grabbing the base of her finger and pulling it back. There was an audible crack as she reset the bone. "Don't you think I would know that?~" she leaned back against the wall, licking her lips. "I could have killed you when I first saw you. I could have killed you when you greeted that bouncer. I could have killed you when you went to get a drink." she bit her thumb, looking him up and down with a grin. "But I think I want something else right now... tell me..." she stepped up to him, her hands on her hips. "Do turned on vampires have a scent when they're turned on?"

"Oh yes they do, and every single time they?ve tried to kill me. So you?ll understand if I don't trust you" Curtis said, as took off his coat. "Oh I'm sure you 'saw' dozens of ways to try and kill me tonight, and we could argue 'til dawn about who?d kill who." His face grew a wolfish grin as he had an idea. "If you're serious, lose one of the blades, and I'll keep my claws to myself."

"You're asking a lot..." she took her blades out. "How can I be sure that you won't tear me apart as soon as I give one up?" There was a glint of silver, and then a thud as she embedded the blade in the wall behind her. "But that's the whole point. There isn't much threat to vampires but wolves, sun, and silver. And the other two are always lethal. She kept the last one, holding it up before sheathing it again. She put her hands up. "Good enough?~"

Ernst's night had continued without much in the way of excitement. He had moved over to where the local clubs and bars were, figuring they would be a good area to find some interesting prey to play with. Perhaps he might start a couple fights. He expected to get thrown out, but the brawls would still be very fun. Some good fist to flesh blows always felt good for him, whether he was receiving them or dealing them out.

What Ernst didn't expect was to sense something other than humans in the area. He felt the presence of another vampire in the area, perhaps one of the ones who was working for Melianara. What really caught his attention was the sense of a being that he hadn't bumped into many times before. And each of those times ended in bloodshed. He doubted a werewolf would reveal itself so openly in public, but if it sensed him then he'd have to be ready for an attack at any time.

It seemed like his luck was good though. As he was walking along the sidewalk opposite a club he noticed a woman he recognized go into an alley way with a very large man. He peered across the street looking at the pair as they conversed. It didn't take long for him to recognize Catherine and he also realized that the other person was none other than the one werewolf he had sensed. He was tempted to walk across the street and confront him right here, but he was curious as to why Catherine was with the beast. She was no young woman newly brought into the afterlife, she was obviously quite old. And while she usually had the demeanor of a temptress, he had also seen that she was a cold-blooded killer (quite literally).

Instead Ernst merely did his best to watch the two while avoiding being seen. It would be interesting to see how their conversation would pan out.

"Works for me" Curtis replied, his eyes taking on a more human colour. "So, if you weren't going to kill me, just what did you have in mind for the rest of the night?" Sliding closer he put his hands on her waist. "Damn, as I said before, you are good at this."

"I'm on the hunt." she grinned, testing out her knuckle. Her nose twitched a little, and her eyes darted around the crowd outside of the alley. There's a lot of us here tonight... comes from having a city so close to a den and a coven. She plucked the dagger out of the wall, not aiming it towards Curtis, but holding it to her side. "My dear, do you know a quick way to lose a nosy tail? I fear we've picked one up. I'll relinquish this once we get to a safer place. Can't leave silver just laying around..."

Looking over his shoulder, and across the street, he could smell roughly where their new 'friend' was. This one is good, I can't pinpoint where he is by smell alone, and I can't see him, but fuck he's close. Stepping out of the alley, Curtis bent down and lifted a cast iron cover off one of the storm drains, then checking to see there were no humans around he went full lycan.

"Try and keep up" he growled back to Catherine, before pitching the heavy grate towards the other vampire. As the lump of metal left his hand, he dashed back into the alley, snatched his coat and leapt on to the nearest roof.

She looked across the street as the iron flew. Sorry. With a grunt she jumped on top of a dumpster, using her blades to gain the last leverage to flip onto the roof. Does this count as a warm up? Catherine laughed to herself, her form similar to a shadow as she flit from roof to roof, following Curtis.

After he was reasonably sure they weren't being pursued, Curtis slowed his pace 'till he stopped, and waited for Catherine to catch up. Once she did he reverted to his human self. "Not bad, not many fangs can keep up with me. So now that I'm all wired and full of energy, I'll quite pussy-footing around. Are we gonna fuck or fight? Right now either works for me."

Ernst continued watching the duo converse. They seemed to have possibly picked up on his presence though as they began to act though they were being watched. His suspicion was confirmed when the man not only fully shifted into his beast form but also lobbed a large metal grating in Ernst direction. The vampire was able to dodge the thrown object, but it distracted him enough that when he looked back, he just barely caught Catherine climbing the wall onto the top of a building. Of course, that was probably the who point of the "attack". As the people around him looked around confused as to why a large piece of metal went flying across a street, Ernst took off towards the building where the two he was watching had climbed to the roof. He thought for a brief second that perhaps this was his cue to leave the pair alone. But he was looking for some excitement and now he had it, why stop now?

After some quick scrambling up the side of the building from the alleyway, Ernst peered along the roof-line to find where the two had ran off. He managed to make-out two shapes running along the top of some buildings from a distance and took off after them, doing his best to keep up but not get too close. The second part wasn't a problem due to the fact that they both had a head-start and seemed to have no intention of letting Ernst catch up. The first part was one, as he soon lost track of the pair as they dropped down into the alleyways. He could still sense them, but could not pin-point their location. So for the time, the vampire simply wandered the rooftops, doing his best to find the two in the alleys below.

Edit: Oh hell, two more posts when I was writing mine up. Time to do some editing...

Edit 2- Return of the Editor: Okay, just figure that Ernst doesn't find the two during their "fun".

Curtis stood feeling slightly out of breath, an uncommon occurrence. "Wow! I didn't think even a vampire could be that flexible." He said, images of what just happened flashed through his mind. Looking down at his chest, where a series of deep claw marks were healing, he chuckled. "And I thought only lycan girls liked it that rough."

Watching as Catherine readjusted her clothing, he starched and yawned. "Well thank you for the memorable evening, but I'm gonna take off." Walking to the mouth of the alley, he turned and looked back. "Oh and just so you know, if we ever meet in a fight, don't think for a second that what happened here will cause me too hesitate." Giving her a final wink, Curtis let loose an ear splitting howl before disappearing into the dark.

"I'd love to see you again then." she grinned, pulling her dagger out of a nearby wall. She was half tempted to follow him and see how long they would last fighting. If I see you again, I'll be sure to stick my blades extra deep into your throat~

She used her blades and climbed up to the closest fire escape. She flipped up onto the railing, and broke the nearest window. Without missing a beat she grabbed the first thing that moved, a young boy, and sunk her teeth into his neck. He wasn't able to scream as her hands crushed his small throat. I feel better already... His mother was next, but Catherine didn't drink her blood. She found a nice kitchen knife to cut all the flesh from the bone, taking time to relish in her screams.

Her next order of business was to block out all the doors and windows. As soon as she had barricaded everything from intruders and sunlight, she drew a bath. She couldn't care less about the fact that she had just been fucked by a mortal enemy, but she wasn't about to walk into a vampire stronghold smelling like a dog.

Alexander walked on, unconcerned with what was going on around him. He had thought of going to the place...but decided to stick with the scheduale and decided to leave the park and wander around, reconing that he would eventually find a vampire, Besides, he didn't have any flowers to give her. His thoughts were interupted suddenly by a howl in the night.

"So...one of my brethern is around here...", he said. He took no heed of that, the howl had nothing in it to indicate that he was in trouble so why should he bother, but felt it useful to get up to where he had guessed the sound came from anyways so he went down an alley and jumped up onto the rooftops, besides, you never know what will be up there.
