"...probably." Alexander said as they left. Then again, he wouldn't put it past some of them to be that stupid and yet somewhat experienced. It just depended on if their brother who died was one of those in that group or the younger grouping(alexander groups people in three catagories, young ones, idiots, and smart ones). And with that he headed out to the den, deciding to follow curtis since he didn't knoe that area as well as he wished.

Sighing as Catherine ran off, Vincent re-holstered his revolver, and took off after her, almost losing track of her in the near-darkness, as his eyes adjusted to the lower light levels. "I haven't had nearly enough Whisky for this" he thought to himself, hoping that the Queen had some good peaty malts in her cellar - no sense using his own if it was supplied!

*Lyon nodded to William and mumbled something, while walking out of the room.*

*She needed to visit some old friends and see what they knew, but first, she had to go back to her old hideout in the city's sewer. She left William's stronghold. When she was outside she turned into her grey, large wrewolf form and began running on all fours, to faster get back to the city.*

*Lyon reached the city after running for awhile. She made sure to change back into her old lady form, then she began walking the streets, in search of an entrance to the sewers. She could smell the foul stench of a vampire, but found an entrance before she found him and climbed down to sewers.*

*Lyon changed back into werewolf form and made her way through the dark water of the sewers. She had several hideouts throughout the city, if she needed a place to rest or hide. Though she did more killing than hiding.*

*She had to look for her own hideout, before she actually managed to find the door, in a dark corner of the sewer.*

*She opened the door and went inside.*

*There was five dead vampires lying in a pile on the floor. She hadn't finished eating them, but she didn't really like the taste of vampires.*

*There was a big bed in the room and a desk, with a lamp on it and a map.*

*Lyon took a quick glance at the map, but she already knew the city and the surrounding areas. She sighed, sometimes she thought she had lived for too long.*

*The reason she had come here, was to get her silver sword. It hanged on one of the walls. It was a huge sword, as big as one of her werewolf arms. It worked good on both vampires and werewolves. It could easily cleave a vampire in half. She had taken it from a vampire she had killed some hundred years ago.*

"Let's kill some vampires then." *Lyon said, took it down from the wall, strapped it on her back and left her hideout.*

*Lyon had to go talk to an old friend first, then she could hunt vampires.*

@westerman: Ah, didn't realize that since it didn't say he was speaking in German. So long as at the point gets across though, that's all that matters.
--January 1917 - British Frontline Trenches - Somewhere on the French border--
"I am," Ernst responded, thankful to be speaking in his native tongue. "I've been serving as a scout and now a raider for some time now. I joined up not that long after the war started." Ernst wasn't sure whether to relax now or get ready again. He had only met one vampire before, and that one had turned him into what he now was and threw him out onto the streets. "I'm guessing you serve much the same purpose, am I correct?"

--Modern Day - Fortress of the Vampire Queen--
Ernst waited for Catherine to exit the Fortress before standing upright again, eager to have his fun. Before he was able to follow though, Vincent walked up to him and asked him a question: "Did you serve in Kaiser Wilhelm's army, Ernst?" Turning around Ernst began to reply, "Yes, I fought in the trenches on the Western Front for most of the wa-" Realization suddenly hit Ernst as he now understood why Vincent had seemed to familiar to him. He had bumped into the other vampire way back during his early days as one of the undead when he had struck fear into the hearts of British soldiers. The two had conversed only for a short time and then split up, but it was still his second encounter with another vampire and the first one that went well.

"You also served as well, did you not? I believe we've met before back in the mud and blood of the trenches." Noticing Catherine was beginning to run off to start the hunt, Ernst turned back to Vincent. "Maybe we could talk about this on the way, I'm as eager as the Frau is to hunt some werewolves." Twirling his two knives in his hands, he began to follow Catherine off into the night, the grin reappearing.

"Well, that makes the both of us", Replied Vincent, still in fluent German, "How long ago were you embraced? And no, I'm just here for the hunting - Thankfully the army are taking any officer they can get, nowadays..." Vincent ducked as he heard a barrage of artillery being fired in the distance, from the direction of what he knew to be one of the German Batteries.
"DUCK, SCHLUTZ!", he shouted, knowing that shells had easily enough power to tear a vampire to pieces.

--Modern Day - Fortress of the Vampire Queen--
Noticing Ernst running alongside him, Vincent continued the conversation as if there was no exertion - of course, being undead, there wasn't. "Yes, we met in early 1917 whilst hunting in the British lines. I was glad to be out of that hellhole by April!" One hand on his revolver to keep from losing it, Vincent sped up slightly, intent on not letting Catherine get the first blood - He was almost too competitive, sometimes!

The clearing she stopped in was relatively well lit in the moonlight. This is a good a place as any... This forest was near a small area claimed by both sides, hopefully there would be some werewolves scouting the area. She motioned for the others to stay back a little, trying not to get their scents in the wind and ruin the lure. Cautiously walking to the middle of the clearing, she broke the vial and smeared the blood on her hands and on the grass (she was not quite so dedicated to this chase to ruin her dress).

can a werewolf come in or can someone play a random one?

Ernst heard the artillery pieces being fired from his side just as Vincent yelled out his warning. Having been in the trenches for so long, he was used to barrages and almost reflexively threw himself against the wall of the trench, doing his best to avoid being hit by the shrapnel that would soon be filling the air. If a round hit the section of the trench he was in though, there wasn't much he would be able to do. He soon heard the familiar sound of screaming artillery shells as they fell down to earth only to exploding in deafening booms. Ernst screamed over the chaos, though he doubt anyone could make it out. "Scheisse! Why are they shelling now, I wasn't told about any barrages happening tonight!"

--Modern Day - Fortress of the Vampire Queen--
"You got out by April? Huh, I was in until about the end. Not that I didn't like it though, quite thrilling, especially when the Americans started showing up. So much young, fresh blood." Ernst continued with his conversation with Vincent as he ran along trying to catch up to Catherine. He held his two knives out to either side of him while he ran, his fangs bared with his grin. No doubt anyone seeing the group would question the humanity of them all.

Leaving his coat with a court servant Curtis stepped outside, quickly transforming. With a nod to Alexander he leapt on to the roof of a nearby one story, and took off running across the rooftops towards the den in question.
---------------------------------------------------------------

After traveling for awhile, they came to the den. The building, buried in the woods and starting to look overgrown, appeared to be an old warehouse now long forgotten by the human world. So close to the fangs HQ, it's amazing they never took this place out. Returning to his human form, he pounded on the door. "Open up brothers! We are here on behalf of the King!"

Alexander looked at the warehouse with folded arms, wondering how they got away with being so close to being to the Vampires and not being rooted out and killed. Still, it wouldn't matter if they truely went to war, this pack would need to leave anyways. They would be the first target after all and besides, Being this close, it's no wonder why-

"Open up brothers! We are here on behalf of the King!" Curtis shouted, interupting the calm forest quiet.

"Wow, just-" Alexander said before putting one of his hands to his mouth as if to suppress something...or maybe it was just to think. He then pointed to Curtis and said, "Isn't it horrifying that i can't think of a quieter way to get their attention? We really need to work on a better way to signal our arrival, especially this close to the vampires lair."

"Fuck those sparkly assholes" Curtis growled. "The only fangs that are a threat are the elder ones, and those shit stains leave the fighting to the fresh meat." Memories flooded back to when he?d attacked the group that had killed his first back. HE remembered tearing through dozens of freshly turned vamps, none of them even armed with so much as a silver dinner fork, before he'd go to the clans Grandsire.

Even the Grandsire was still young and stupid, less than two years old, though he at least had a sliver weapon. Unfortunately he was also entirely dependent on his abilities to fight; Curtis made short work of him, leaving the vamp impaled on a radio tower, to burn in the morning sun.

Shaking his head to clear his thoughts he pounded on the door again, "Wake up you deaf mongrel bastards."

Curtis isnt a big one for subtlty if he not hunting

William sat down in his chair to think over the events and how they where unfolding.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Jack flung open the door seeing two Werewolves he scoffed.
"No need to shout brothers what does the king want with me?"

--January 1917 - British Frontline Trenches - Somewhere on the French border--
"This one was kept under wraps", Shouted Vincent over the deafening sound of multiple explosions, "The General thinks there's an information leak among the men". Vincent was glad of the fact vampiric senses were good enough to pick up on speech over such a racket. "This is gonna wake up the whole trench - wanna fight 'em all?"

--Modern Day - Fortress of the Vampire Queen--
Catching up to Catherine, he noticed her motioning for them to stay at the edge of the clearing as she smeared the blood onto her hands. With no warning, Vincent heard the rustle of an approaching werewolf. No, two. three. Fuck, this lure was too effective - Vincent suddenly hoped there weren't too many Elders prowling tonight.

Only seconds later, the vanguard of the wolves came barreling into the clearing behind Catherine, leaping at her. The world seemed to move in slow motion. "Cath, Duck!", screamed Vincent, bringing his revolver up and aimed at the beast's immense head, letting fly 3 silver-jacketed rounds. Showing his years of practice with the handgun, 2 of the 3 planted themselves solidly in the wolf's head, with the third ripping a large hole in one of its ears. The beast hit the floor, narrowly missing Catherine, and howled with pain, trying to claw its way over to Vincent. Drawing his knife, Vincent leapt at the dying furball, and planted the blade deep into its brain, abruptly snubbing out its life. Looking up, Vincent saw something that made him wish he hadn't - All around the clearing, wolves were barreling towards the small group of vampires. Steeling himself, Vincent cursed, and aimed his revolver at the nearest wolf. "shit, i'm gonna have to reload this thing soon"...

One, two, three, four... five. Five wolves. Plus one dead. Lovely~ Well Melianara, they're on your property. That means we can kill them. Sorry love. She ducked, allowing Vincent to kill the first wolf, then turned smoothly to face the one behind it. Three young ones and two older ones. Just enough of a challenge. Her blades appeared in her hands and she jumped to meet the next wolf, digging the silver blades into its shoulders and swinging onto its back as it roared. Using the blades she steered him further from the other ones, hoping to get more time to make it suffer.

Vincent let the last three rounds in his revolver fly into the wolf which was hurtling towards him, allowing it the time to jump at him before sidestepping, and leaping onto its back, bringing his blade down into the spine of what was, to him, just a matted ball of fur. Vincent noticed with some relish that whilst he had taken out two young werewolves, there were two older ones just outside the borders of the clearing - they would take some teamwork, he realised, grinning wildly. As the second beast slumped onto the ground, its spinal cord severed half-way down its back. It tried desperately to claw vincnet from its back, achieving nothing more than a blade in its paw. The wolf let out an enormous howl of pain, recoiling, as Vincent plunged the bloodied silver blade into the back of its head. Crouching low, Vincent reloaded his revolver "thank fuck for speed loaders", he thought to himself, licking the blade of his knife experimentally - Werewolf blood, as it turns out, tastes utterly awful. Noticing that the final 3 wolves - including the two elders - were converging on the two younger Vampires, Vincent turned to see Catherine torturing her werewolf. Much as he approved of this behavior, Vincent fired two rounds into its head, trying to draw Catherine back to help the other two...

Looking Jack over, Curtis pushed him aside and stepped into the building. "We need to speak with you about the brother that was killed on the fangs door step. We're here to find out if his death was because of his own foolishness" he said, his eyes narrowing, "or some greater incompetence."

All of a sudden his ears perked up as he heard the far off sounds of gun fire, and the mournful howls of wounded lycans, inside the vampires territory. Blasted fools fell into a trap he thought, messengers should've got to them by know telling'em to stay clear... [small]"FUCK"[/small]

"I would have liked to have known about this, but whatever, I'm up for fighting our way out of this!" Ernst respond, somewhat surprised that he could hear Vincent over the roar of the barrage. As he waited a bit, he could tell that the artillery fire was letting up and that soon he'd have to fight his way through a lot of British troops.

Perfect.

--Modern Day - Fortress of the Vampire Queen--
Ernst stopped as the group reached a clearing and Catherine went out to set the trap. It was not long that they had to wait before the trap was sprung as an entire group of lycans. Catherine and Vincent reacted first both taking on one of the werewolves. The other three seemed to barrel down on Ernst and Tim. Ernst grinned as wide as he could and charged at one of the three. The two beings slammed into one enough and hit the ground hard. They stayed together though due to Ernst twin knives sticking into the gut of the werewolf, which he soon began to tear up along it's torso. The werewolf howled in pain as the blades cut a long path through it's entrails before exiting which Ernst then plunged into each side of it's neck, right near where he imagined it's jugulars. Knowing that that wouldn't kill it, Ernst pulled out his final knife, a much longer one made with silver in the blade. Gripping the lycan's head, Ernst stabbed it into one eye socket and into it's brain.

The beast spasmed a bit as it died, making it harder of Ernst to pull his knives out the body, that would be a problem as another one of the beasts had tackled him, carrying him away from the corpse when he had only removed one.

Catherine reconnected her blades and clamped them around the werewolves neck, keeping an eye on the elders. It took her about three cuts, but she separated head from body. Holding it by the scruff, she threw it at the elders, hoping to provoke them into attacking instead of planning. She released her grip on the creature's body as it fell, flipping off of it and landing with her blades out. "Come on you mongrels" she tempted, hoping to maybe separate them. One elder was a fair match, two was close enough to suicide.

Tim had a pen knife in his pocket, but a deep instinct told him it would just piss the werewolves off. "Fuck." he whispered as the other vampires, blatant veterans of fighting and dealing with werewolves. Tim threw himself clear of a leaping wolf. Tim grabbed a fallen branch from a nearby tree, it was thick and heavy. A human would barely have been able to lift it, he swung it as hard as he could at the werewolf utilising every ounce of strength he had. It smashed the werewolf across the head, snapping its neck and slinging it across the clearing. The wood disitigrated under the force of the blow.

Jack's ears perked up as he head the distant howling as well.
"Some other incompetence?Kiss my ass!I'm the alpha of this pack I didn't get that way by being a fool.If the King has a problem with me he can get his ass over here and tell me himself.Otherwise it seems that we have other pressing matters our brothers are getting killed."

Curtis snarled and transformed, lifting Jack off his feet and slamming him into the wall, with his forearm across the alpha's throat. "You WILL show respect to your king! As for those fools outside, if they were dumb enough to be lured into vampire territory, after they'd been told to stay out, then they deserve their fate. If you sent them, and our other lost brother in there, then I should just kill you know and save our king the headache."

Stepping back, he let Jack down and glared into his eyes. "So which is it? Are you surrounded by hot heads you can't control, or are you a fool that need to be dealt with?"
