Alright, I've got some of my own questions for everyone.

1. How does your race view humans?
2. How does your character view humans?
3. What ethics and morals are upheld by your race?
1. EDIT:"humans are weak, the only thing that makes it fun to fight them is watching them squirm for their lives which they are so strongly attached to, like a vertebrate and its spine, in both cases its fun to separate them."-Baharm
2. he admires their thirst for knowledge but that is the only trait in humans he likes.
3. Bravery, strength and power are the three traits that most rasem what to live up to, it is coded into their DNA to live up to those standards. There are only two morals that all rasem share, 1. don't start a fight without a reason and 2. a battle isn't over till one side of the fight is dead.

1. The Taibaskans regard humans as a more primitive and inferior form of themselves, Taibaskans are known for condoning human slavery and enjoying hunting them as if they are animals.

2. Valiro is curious about the humans, but he does find them to be rather arrogant and obnoxious.

3. For a Taibaskan, the clan is the way of life, the elders' words are law. Taibaskans are forbidden to leave the planet without express permission from the elders. They follow a warrior life much like the Spartans and the Mongols did. All Taibaskans are expected to kill without mercy, uphold the code of the clan, to pray to Delmond and to offer regular sacrifices. Their most sacred law is to never speak about Taibask to outsiders.

1-How does your race view humans?
The Flet in general see them in the same way as most races they are as good as they are to the Frel, they live longer than the Flet but so do most races and that only makes them slow and old from their point of view, the Frel also . The Frel share the point about them being only as good as they are to the Frel but like most other species they are extremely short lived and have tiny mind, but they do have value as terminals.

2. How does your character view humans?
Not much differently to the other Flet in all honesty. The humans Dal?s has worked with seem nice enough is a little fragile and ineffective.

3. What ethics and morals are upheld by your race?
All Flet are property of their Frel (which is why all Flet names end with an ?s) however the Frel are bound to provide sex and the hormone cocktail in exchange for regular service having left over nebula (what they call the hormone cocktail) is looked down upon a lot.
When they are carrying out the needs of the Frel the Flet see themselves as justified in any action they chose to take also they are highly pragmatic there isn?t really any honour system in places and wanting to become a Frel justifies pretty much any action apart from harming their own Frel.
Interestingly the Flet are very offended by the idea of disguise.

1-How much of answer 3 does everyone know? You?re thoughts on Norg morality?

2-To Dark Harbinger specifically so what racist things were you told about the Frel and Flet?

3-Does anyone think of the Flet and Frel using human genders? (This is more to the players than you?re characters. I?ll admit despite my best attempts I do think of one gender as Male and as Female. Which do you think of as which?

4-So how would everyone to being in a squad with Dal?s?

5-Do you know the Norg (not just the Frel) have a liquid brain have they heard of Flet pouring other brains into their skulls? Do they believe the stories?

6-What about the attempts to alter the nebula to work on other species? You think they will yield any success or is it just utter madness?

The Taibaskans when mentioning the subject of the Frel and Fret spoke of them with disgust. They saw them as mutated freaks of nature that were incompatible with the future that would flourish under the rule of Delmond through the Taibaskans. Because of a Fret's short lifespan the Taibaskans think they are weak and have no meaningful existence. If the prophecy had been fulfilled and the Taibaskans had invaded, the Fret and Frel would have been exterminated. Fortunately since abandoning his people Valiro looks at them without prejudice and is eager to learn more, however, he is a little frightened by the idea of people becoming terminals for the Frel.

The Flet are the ones that only live for a decade or so.
There are Frel billions of years old.
I can?t wait to see them try and exterminate a race the size of continents.
Have your race ever come into contact with Gryale? *see post 117 on page 4) how did that go?
Fixed the little mistake ;)

Yes, Valiro's former clan, the Segiri, have it written in their scrolls of an encounter with a Gryale, a group of 4 Segiri clan members were looking for a new kind of food that would be able to grow on Taibask, at the time there was a severe shortage of pushtag plants, which provide a variety of foods for the Taibaskans. But anyway, one of the Segiri recorded that the local animals were incredibly aggressive, even the smallest, most docile looking ones, the scrolls go on to describe how two of the Segiri started to act strange, protesting whenever an attacking animal was killed. The recording Segiri spoke of the two claiming to have met a Gryale and were shouting that they must help it. Apparently later that same night the two turned violent and killed the third Segiri, but the recorder fled before they got him. The remaining Taibaskan made his way back to the clan unharmed. It is assumed that the two mad Segiri Taibaskans are still on that planet to this day, enslaved to the same Gryale.

The Rasem are one of the few races the Taibaskans are not inherently hostile to, some Taibaskans believe that the Exo-Skeleton genes may be related. To a certain extent the Taibaskans admire the strength and battle prowess of the Rasem, Particularly because a mature Taibaskan's Exo-Skeleton begins to form into a sort of shell-like armour.

Unfortunately a lot of Taibaskans believe that the Rasem are heretics for not believing in Delmond, some look down on them for not using magic in a fashion like the Taibaskans.

The Taibaskan teachings say that the Rasem are a more suitable race under Delmond's vision, however due to their infidelity they are doomed if they do not convert.

Really nice Gryale encounter idea.
?Being a terminal isn?t so bad imagine what you would learn if you could apply what you know to millions maybe even billions of years of photographic memory.
You could be the first step in improved relations between our people.
You could unlock the secrets of the universe
If you?re concerned talk to a terminal all the ones I know have nothing but good things to say about their condition.
Come on it doesn?t even hurt.
What?s stopping you??
Why thank you, you did create an awesome creature ^^

"Thanks but I intend to have a life of my own for once, plus I'm not exactly a representative of my people."

"The oldest Taibaskan still alive is 15,450 years old, I am quite comfortable with the thought of living for a few thousand years.
I doubt there will be any Taibaskans out looking for me, few ever leave the planet.
Besides, once you have me, I just become a part of one conciousness, I enjoy being myself."

"Well I thank you, but refuse"

I will.

Good Night. :)

EDIT: Being quite an individualist, Valiro sympathises with Joom, as he does not like the idea of the Frel encompassing other races, he sees them as a little too controlling.
